Sorry to hear about Craig Howard...prayers for his family.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

'Cats have picked up some nice linebackers recently, including an all-state player out of Oregon and a very nice guard out of Salem last night. Early returns are looking up for the 'Cats this off season!

'Cats just picked up (via twitter) an oregon all-state RB. Good looking RB.

Linfield's schedule is posted.     Games 2 and 3 will be very tough for a young Wildcat team.

I think the 1st game at Chapman is going to be tough for what is a whole new set of offensive skill players and defensive backfield.  We'll be talented but it's a matter of how quickly the 2017 team puts it together.

LF will beat Chapman by four TDs, They are very thin up front, in depth and numbers. Recruiting is getting harder and harder for SCIAC schools and Chapman is at the top of the list as to why. I wont get into what is going on with admission and their goals, but it is getting harder to recruit the typical player that can have an impact on your team.  Chapman admission standards are like Puget Sound and cost are over 64k to go there, aid is so so at best. Last couple recruiting classes have been average. JC recruiting not a lot of help since classes do not transfer over well and add third year to play at CU. They will only be an occasional contender.
The team in SCIAC that is position the best to win is CLU, then LV...but Maynard wont give up, given similar circumstances like Chapman at UR. Credit to Maynard and staff for out working others in the conference.
Less than two more years of Gavin.

If that's the case then that's a good game for Linfield to cut their teeth on.  I think the 'Cats are going to be very good up front defensively and at LB.  I also have high hope for a special offensive line over the next two seasons but tons of questions at receiver, QB, and RB depth..

Yeah---hopefully we don't have a repeat of the 2014 Chapman game (but a repeat of that season wouldn't be so bad).
Go Cats!

Well, a repeat of the '14 game means we would have an All-American quarterback just waiting to be called to show the stuff.
See you there, by the way.

True enough....which is why I said a repeat of that season wouldn't be too bad.

Linfield's coaching staff has been crushing it this recruiting season.
