We are basically just like Alabama.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Wouldn't you say this was an accurate  prediction, ""Chapman will come no where near upsetting the Cats"
"Mexico will pay for the Wall"

Granted we did not look as sharp as I would have preferred.  If we keep throwing picks next week like  we did today we're dead.

speaking of accurate predictions:  DOC was headed out to a highschool reunion and came up to say hi/bye to us.  As he's about to leave he says, "I still think Chapman will turn the ball over once before the game is over".  Almost before the words were out of his mouth the Chapman QB throws the pick.  Classic DOC (from what i'm told).

Chapman played a much cleaner game which is why they stuck with the CATS.  CATS need to clean things up if they want to compete in the coming weeks.
Go Cats!

Cheers to the victory!  35 of the 60 players that traveled where first time travel roster players of the 'Cats.  That's pretty incredible.  Yeah, lots of things to improve and get better at and not much time (the next two games are monumental for Linfield) but the ceiling for this team is pretty big. We have a crap ton of talent but they can't wait very long to gel. Love our young RB's and we have guys that receiver that can get behind the defenses. I would love for the Whitworth game to be deeper in the season but that's not a luxury the 'Cats get.

Hats off to Chapman and their coaching staff but onto UMHB!

Cats looked as advertised against a worthy Chapman team. Offensive and defensive lines were very impressive and made the new running back corps look strong. New Cat secondary was up to the challenge and did their part. Passing game will need to continue to develope but you could see the potential with both QBs and receivers that were able to get open. When 11 talks about the upside of this Cat edition he is absolutely right it's just a matter of the offensive skill guys getting in sync now because the next couple of games the bad boys will be visiting the Catdome and as we all know both foes will make you pay for mistakes you make against them. Overall l feel pretty confident this team will be very good at some point in the season....unfortunately that point needs to come next week against the Champs. A big week of a lot of hard work ahead for the Cats to meet their potential and opportunity that will show up next Saturday at the Catdome. From all of us at Catdome South thanks Cats for traveling down and thanks to Chapman for hosting at your top notch facility.

UMHB will probably be 3-5 times better than Chapman across the board.  :o  ... hopefully any injuries were minor. Any thoughts on the QB position?

We have two talented options that will continue to develop as we go along

Both guys bring something to the table and you can see how combination could work....throws will settle down routes will get crisper and one guy hard to hit...he broke dudes ankles !

I thought Wilder was particularly impressive with his limited amount of playing time.  He certainly has good speed and can run the ball.  Unfortunately he had the one bad interception but he exhibited he could throw the long ball as well.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Humbly beg to differ CalCat. With all that $$$ Chapman should have a video screen by now. You know the visiting bench is so far away from those home stands that we could not read the numbers. Just watching the middle of the field was 75 yards away.
Give me La Verne or Pomona for fan friendly. Chapman, not.
Mr. Bluenote... you know by now no one gives player information on this board.
