I would say this and I think many of the Crunation would agree, take nothing for granted. Linfield has risen to the occasion many times in the past, Last year was last season, this is a new day, a new season, with new players and a whole new situation. Great weather (as far as the weather guessers can tell ) seems to be ordered and who knows, a bad snap, a late pass, anything can and  I will say will happen with these two.
But the point is, the Cru fully respects this side and I believe will go into this game with that mind set, the Cats will be coming for not just a win but a restoration. For years it was the curse of the cat for UMHB, last season it was waived so who knows what is going to happen, except the players, on the field, in the gametime on Saturday.
It's going to be a great one guys, I hope our Cru are victorious for sure but I do believe that Linfield will be a tough and talented side.

Wow no Oxy-Pacific game this week. Whats up with the roster down south sounds like a bout of Lewis and Clark fever years ago.

GF played pretty well against Platteville on the road last week RFB.... you think your dogs will have a chance to beat the 3-4th best team in NWC? Should be a barn burner!

Should be a good one. I'm curious how you feel about Linfield being 1-1 already?

Oh, just wait until they are 1-2...

Sounds like you speak from 1-2 experiences...

Not personally. But I've been around here long enough to see the chicken little posts come out when Linfield is less than dominant.

I will chime in, LF is a better program than UR's...period, the commitment to football versus UR does not compare. I have been to the Cat Dome for most of UR's games...The entire SCIAC is less committed to football than LF....NW fans can say what they want but its true...sorry fellas

MHB commitment to FB is greater than LF, so it will always be a challenge for LF to compete with them.... The aid package given to students at MHB alone make it tough for all the West Coast teams to compete. SCIAC flat out cost more, many kids that want to play there cant...

UR in the past has had no chance to be LF, I thought last season was the first time they would had a chance , UR was playing well the last half of the season, the MHB game proves my point. 2016 defense was the past UR had in a while and the offense was average with a good kicker.  If this years team plays to its potential, then they can be better than last years team. The last 6 years our offense has trailed the D, for the first time in a long time I feel the offense can control the game to some degree and help the D. GF is a huge test, if we struggle or take the L, it will be one and done again for the
SCIAC......

I'm interested in how you attained knowledge of the aid package at UMHB.

I'm also interested in how you can say the commitment to football is greater at UMHB than LF.  Linfield will always draw well from the NW, and as someone who lived in the NW for ten years, there are plenty of talented players to fill the lineup. UMHB will never take traveling to Oregon for granted.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Maybe a little  better than you feel about Redlands being 1-1....
Go Cats!

Congrats to George Fox. Two evenly matched teams. Great crowd, great game.

wildcat11

Congrats Cru. Just a tremendous defense. Best I have seen on D3 level.

Linfield has a lot of growing up to do on offense. The 'Cats defense is damn good but we can't be a one sided team or we'll be sitting at home this year.  Whit is more than legit. Time to get to work!

I thought the offensive line did well in the first half. I haven't looked at the stats to see how many sacks they gave up. The teams were probably even.
That was the #1 team in McMinnville. Same 'ol #2 playing the tired conference schedule.

Wildcat'64

Kudos to the Cats Defense....now we have 14 days to find an offense that can puts points on the board.  Great potential for the Cats, just need to find the right combination and focus on winning the NWC.
LEAVE NO DOUBT
