I don't think either Linfield or UMHB had a snap in the red zone. All three UMHB TDs were long plays, and none of the field goal attempts were less than 40 yards.
I thought the first half was fairly even (aside from one huge play by UMHB); the second half less so.

Cats need to choose a QB or just plan on playing 9 games. The defense is fantastic but the rotation at the helm on offense is causing breakdowns!!

Maybe a little  better than you feel about Redlands being 1-1....

RFB, you are being nice...we sleep walked in the first half as usual, tackled very poorly in the first half, missed three on the score. Not scoring on the five, not scoring on many drives.. poor play calls...I knew what was coming I am sure GF did too, hoping our 175 pound QB can pound it for a first, ...Defense played well in the second half is the only good thing I can say....Overall disgusted in the whole effort.

I was very frustrated watching the game, and could create a laundry list of questions from the game, but was pleased by the effort of the kids on the field. I will trust the coaches to fix the many mistakes, including their own decisions before playing Oxy (hopefully) in two weeks. George Fox played well enough to win, and deserve to be congratulated. They have a ton of potential as a budding program. They have the location, facility, crowd support, and coaching to challenge Linfield in the next few years in my opinion. I hope Redlands continues to play them, in addition to Linfield hopefully.

I'm less optimistic than you gren but more optimistic than Bluenote.   I think the CATS will move the ball much better on Whitworth than they were able to against UMHB.  However, I fully expect the RATS to have more offense than UMHB did against the CATS.  Cats will need to force turnovers and limit similar mistakes on their own side.  I think we will run the ball fairly well against Whitworth but we need the passing game to be there or it will be a bad day.  Bye weeks suck for us fans and I'd imagine for the players after a loss and this early in the season.....ho hum.....

That is it in a nutshell for the Cats...Whitworth has not seen or will see a defense the likes of Linfield. As good as Whitworth's QB and offense are they won't hang anywhere near the numbers they did on La Verne or Whittier. I would be surprised if Whitworth can go over 20 on the Cats so it's going to be up to Cats offense to hang a solid 30 on Whitworth.  I believe the O-line will do their part the skill guys have got to find their rhythm now...won't do them any good to find it week 3 or 4. The " type of offense" they need to find is the passing game...we'll run the ball fine against the Rats but we got to fix the air part.
