I never said he isn't a good coach. That's fairly obvious. L&C is vastly improved. I called him a quitter, which he is. He quit coaching Linfield, that's indisputable. And he didn't leave to be a coordinator or even a coach, initially. Facts are facts. He didn't leave us as high and dry as Langsdorf though. I have no issues with Locey.

Wet one forecast for Saturday. FU is like a new driver though, timid when it comes to passing. May not matter.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

If I have to pay $12 to watch 3 quarterbacks take apart FU then you should too.

Hey, that's comes to only $4/QB.  ;D
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

ADvantage 'Catdome = 'Cats Win!!!! Linfield blazes a trail in 49-14 win at Lewis & Clark.
Thanks, as always WC11 for your crisp analysis of the game.
After watching from the sidelines, jostling up and down the sidelines with the players I "Felt" just what you pointed out.
"The EDGE just wasn't there!"
Boisterous and awake; but missing the fire somehow.  That being said...A Win is a Win!
Next week is a whole different animal!

One person's quitter is another person's job change. If you leave your job for a better professional opportunity and more pay, are you a quitter?

Well, alright then. Everyone should stay at their first job, always, the end.

Yes.

Is it possible that Linfield has been working on the game coming up for the last 2 weeks? It has happened before. Not taking anything away from Lewis and Clark, but Linfield is much deeper and we did play a lot of the young studs early.

Have teams stopped using L&C week to prep for the following Saturday's game? That would be the bigger surprise...

FU is been following Linfield this year for conference (Linfield played Whit, next week FU vs Whit so the most recent film FU watches if Linfield/WW, and so on) so I'm sure their staff has been making plenty of notes/early prep as NWC play has moved along on the 'Cats.

I'm sure both staffs will feel good by the end of the week on their prep.

I heard that after this weekends loss Casey is going to the Beavers to be with his Bro.

Say, could GF's success this year (fourth year of having a program) be in part due to the same reason Pacific had success in year four of their program? In that it is composed for basically 4 year starters that have obtained a ton of experience?

I remember Pacific's 2013 team, made up of pretty much four year starters, giving the 'Cats one hell of a game. They led us 16-7 in the 2nd half before we came back to win it 28-22. And this was a 'Cats team that went to the QFs and, although completely decimated by injuries at this point, jumped out to a 17-0 lead over eventual champ Whitewater on the road. A UW-W team that crushed UMU by 38 points in the Stagg.
