I guess there is some HS girl in TX that is their FG & PAT kicker, and is actually being used to win games, and not for publicity stunts (who would EVER do the latter?!?!?!).   :D

She kicked a 30 yard FG w/ 1 min left to recently win a game, and hasn't missed a PAT yet this year.

We've got a HS girl in Michigan (my wife's alma mater, in fact) who is a starting LINEBACKER for a team that will make the playoffs in the largest school division!  She was also the Homecoming Queen - and it wasn't a put-on: she's VERY good looking.  She is also a state-ranked power-lifter.  I'd be VERY careful making any moves on her! ::)

Wow, that's pretty impressive! Kicker is one thing, but playing LB at a playoff caliber school in the state's largest division is something else. I was going to ask how big/strong she is, but she must be put together if she's ranked in the state as a power-lifter. The TX kicker is interestingly enough, like the Michigan girl, also the school's Homecoming Queen - but not built like her.

Yeah, I chuckled at the SCIAC discussion recently about the inherent physical limits of females.  NEVER underestimate what a physically gifted and adequately motivated female may do someday! :o

BTW, she is 5'10" and 165 - rather on the small size for a big school LB, but she gets the job done!  (And rather on the big size for a Homecoming Queen, but she is REALLY good looking!)  I've never seen her play, so have no clue whether she could play college ball, but am sure it would not just be a 'stunt' if she did.

Here you go again spitting your nonsense. We get it dude, you have a hard on for this chick, it's ok to admit it.

Spoken like a true Neanderthal.

I did get one detail seriously wrong - she is 5'5", not 5'10".  But she would seriously kick either of our butts.  Check out Alicia Woollcott on Google.

If that doesn't reset your male chauvinism, you are utterly hopeless.  Anatomy is NOT destiny.

(If I was 50 years younger, I would "have a hard on for this chick".  Except she would probably cold-cock me! ;D)

She's not even remotely attractive, but then again I live in LA where blonde and hot is taken to another level. She would kick your ass, but then again that wouldn't be a shocking result for a neutered feminist like yourself.

What are we doing here? Insulting each other? I ought to strike this whole page from the board. RFB -- you didn't used to post like this and I'm not sure why you've started to do so. Perhaps you could stop.

While we're at it, can we please point out that the attractiveness of a girl (or guy for that matter) or their ability to be elected homecoming queen has nothing to do with how well they play football.  I understand what Yipsi was going for when sharing this story but I think he undermined his point by then saying the young lady is "REALLY attractive" in defense of her being elected home coming queen.  Why are a couple of middle-aged (and older) men discussing the attractiveness of a teenage girl on a website about college football anyway?

That last sentence is the final word. Let us never speak of this again. I feel gross.

Lutes tomorrow! Hopefully we see a cohesive offense and the salty d comes to shut down the lutes. Two years ago was a tight one, but the weather was crap, on the kind side. I'll be at the alumni bbq with my dad, reminiscing about our favorite lute games.

Mine? Both tilts from 1992, the defeat of the defending champs at sparks in 2000, and I'll never forget the loss in 1998 at sparks. I'm sure 11 remembers that one...
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

I do love going to the Cousin on these trips up to the Tacoma school.  The program has been going there for over 40 years and It's a pretty cool tradition.

Played half of the game with a concussion (not bragging). Took a knee in the helmet from their big RB, Hicks and was seeing stars for a good portion of the 3rd quarter.

That was a tough game, we had a hell of a defense that year but the offense struggled against the Lutes.  The 1998 Lutes team was really good and the precursor to their '99 National Title team.

Simply to torpedo his feminist drivel, nothing more.

I'm interested to watch the Linfield/PLU game this weekend.... I was told that their QB was recruited by Linfield but decided in the end to attend PLU because his sister decided to go there....maybe she plays on the team?  8-)

Not sure his reasons but Chandler was someone the 'Cats wanted but he decided on PLU.  I'm sure he's having a great experience there and the 'Cats have been just doing fine.
Young kid probably wanted to get away from where he was comfortable to become a man.
That is one of the reasons I chose PLU over staying in Alaska. And I ruled out Linfield because my brother was going there. I wanted to make my own way.

Family friend's son is a very good QB in Northern California being recruited by some NWC schools. I told them to look into PLU as well.
