If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the coaches know who is in the best position to be ready to play -- especially with a position such as offensive line. Those of us who aren't in practice every day really couldn't possibly know.

For Coach Smith, who's remarks are usually very measured, that's quite strong language about anything(publicly)!
Last season the UPS field was particularly....challenging!
I believe WC11 has footage of the O-line getting set while throwing large wads of turf/muck off the line to get set.  Maybe, when appropriate he could share that again?

I'm hoping to see Wyatt Smith start at QB as hopefully the game has slowed down enough for him by now in adjusting from high school.  The coaching staff doesn't appear to have any confidence in Wilder's ability to throw the ball in the intermediate area which is the bread and butter of our offense. I'd be interested to hear what is going on with Fowler as he was starting to play with some polish before getting ill.

With Wilder it seems pretty apparent that the offensive plan has been to not put the defense in bad spots or give up easy points via pick sixes or a short-field via interceptions.  We all know that first down is going to be a run right or run left.  Second down is going to be run right or run left.  Third down is going to be some type of checkdown pass to a running back.

We've got some talent at wide receiver from what I can tell even with losing #21 for the season.
