The Panthers should be on the move tomorrow morning. Really looking forward to watching the game in the Pine Bowl. Should be a very good match up for both teams.

for very different reasons I think...
Go Cats!

Andy Jamison - Walla Walla Wildcat

Was at the game... some observations...

Passing game - too many deep throws when receivers were open underneath... as a former receiver, I know how hard it is to complete a deep pass as the margin for error is very small.  Would rather see us concentrate on getting the ball into our receivers hands and having them get yards after catch.

Altitude - Guys were gassed which I didn't understand until someone mentioned that Helena is at 4,000 feet which makes a huge difference.

Grass - Lots of slipping on routes which I attribute to playing on grass

Battle - We kept fighting and fighting and I felt had all the momentum if the game had gone to OT.  The two play series of our pick and their TD was heartbreaking.  QB simply needed to make a better decision on where to throw the ball.

Holding - Too many holding penalties ... they were blatant... I saw them from where I was watching the game... Oline getting away with things thru camp and then getting caught during a game..

Injuries - Rough to see our LB hurt his knee and then our Rover get kicked in the shin... that hurt but the d stepped up until it didn't...

Decision - probably a very questionable decision to have our first game on the road, 11 hour drive, in smoky conditions, at altitude against a team that had already had 2 games... but with all that we weren't far from winning the game.

Yes, mine are usually intellectually challenging for him.

So... Where do we stand Saturday?
Redlands is due some year to actually squish one out.

.... more like idiotic and waste of brain processing time.

For whatever reason, DOC's posts have become more decipherable since seeing this DOC.

DOC's DOC seems to be helping him in more ways than one.

Hope the recovery continues!
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

OK, since my team opened the season with a loss I will try to be more straight forward with my comments.
The cryptic sense of humor can go the way of Augustana.
I never took football theory but I will endeavour to keep my posts on that plane, no matter how boring
I will try to predict winners and losers even though my instincts say I shouldn't.
I shall not tease.

WARNING...WARNING...WARNING
The Russians have hacked into D O.C.'s account. I've know Dens for 48 years and this was certainly no post from him. From now on be VERY, VERY careful regarding any comments, suggestions or information posted by this imposter trying to make us think that Dens has stopped larding his posts with nearly impenetrable commentary. I don't believe that only one Wildcat loss could have this effect on him. On the other hand it may be lingering effects of anesthesia at work. So...be very, very careful.

Based on the comments of OldCatProf, I may have to sever our line of communication. I'm really frightened. I promise to never call you annoying or anything derogatory. It was all in fun, sir!
And I don't live in Alliance anymore. I'm moving to a remote area of Mexico. So don't try to find me.

In my own room.
