Hard to deserve something like this more than you, WC11. Congrats.

A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

WOW!   Today was a Linfield team like the past.    They were firing on all cylinders!!     Best game this year, by far!
Will it be enough to get into the playoffs?    Who knows?

But, next year is looking brighter now.

I'm late in adding my congratulations, WC11, but well done and well earned. And your induction speech this evening was outstanding.

"Pat's take: No. 24 Linfield. Wildcats' scare last week might give Pacific something on tape to work with."

Well, Pat, not exactly.    Linfield 50-7.    The Wildcats came out strong and it was over quickly.     However, it surprised me too.

Their season has been very erratic (for Linfield).     Now, if they get into the playoffs (longshot, agreed) and play anyone outside of the Top 5 or 6 nationally, look out, they will be a tough out --- if they play like yesterday.

I am looking forward to next year.

Your hindsight, amazingly, is 20-20. You have such great postdictions.

Pat, did you not read my sentence "However, it surprised me too. "?      I was stunned in the stands yesterday.   That was not what we had seen in the first 8 games.

I'm thinking the UPS game hurt any "chance" rather than the Pacific game helping.

You can't lose to an NAIA team out west and get a pool c bid

Not an NAIA team hovering around .500 you can't. If this had been a loss to one of those historic Carroll teams and they were unbeaten, then that second loss doesn't hurt one bit. Imo

Yes, congrats WC11. Very cool honor. And very cool to see how you continue to add value to the Linfield program all these years down the line.
