Probably hard to beat someone 52-0 at home.  :)

The defacto NWC title game will be in Spokane again next year?

But at least it is the second last game of the season.  If both teams take care of business then that will be a good weekend.

Yeah, that's been going around the conference the past few years.  Pacific was at the 'Catdome back-to-back in 14/15 and then Linfield was at Pac back-to-back in 16/17.  It's happen with others (I think Whitworth went back-to-back at Linfield recently as well).  I'm fuzzy on the details but I'm hoping this is the last year of it around the NWC.

You forgot to mention we have GeoFox to thank by moving their reboot to a year later than the conference anticipated.

I would sure like to understand the thought process behind this tough schedule.

1.   Going 3,000 miles to play a good Rowan team there to open??   Like Carroll, they also could have two games under their belt before we play our first.

2.   And why do we not play Whitworth here?    The two best teams in the conference should alternate locations!   Very unfair.

We could have another 7-2 year, because of the schedule.    If we lose any two games, we are cooked again.

1. So--unless we decide to go to a 10 game season we are almost always going to face a team with 1-2 games under their belt.  I think going to Rowan is going to be an awesome experience for the players and any fans that make the trip (maybe you could look into flights).  Also--it's a D3 game so that's great--probably not very easy for CATS to find non-conference D3 opponents to schedule so I think this is great.

2.  As others have explained--this is still fallout from George Fox's decision to hit "pause" on their first season which created a mess with the conference schedule.  Yeah it sucks but it is what it is.

Bottom line George---if we lose 2 games, it's because we didn't play well enough on those 2 days to win.  You sound as if you just want the CATS to schedule easy wins so they can return to the playoffs (untested) rather than challenging themselves and creating great experiences for the players, their families, and the fans.    ???

Anyway--Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Go Cats!

I resemble that remark! Of course, I'm not a regular poster on this board. See, I usually post mainly on the OAC board. However; I do occasionally post on some of the other boards. I often post on the MIAC board. Sometimes I post on the WIAC board or even the ASC board. Once I posted on the NJAC board. I even, if you can believe it .......... Never mind. Same to you fella! 🍗 🍷 😃

How well does Witworth travel?  Who's making the trek to the frozen tundra?

When we played at Whitworth in 2005 (I think, close enough) we had a charter that made it a one day trip.  The Whitworth fans were pretty surprised when our four busses rolled up.

It was fairly cold that day, not Minnesota cold. And a fair amount of snow on the ground..
