OK, so I'm guessing Blue doesn't read italics.  So for the rest of you, I made all that up for his benefit. He obviously enjoys being the victim and I'm pretty sure the chip on his shoulder has literally grafted into his skin.  Please don't tell him I didn't mean it.

.... I'd advise you to get a haircut, shoeshine and some better cheese curds.   :P

Waah. Puget Sound and Chapman don't think so. And there was a NWC offensive line in the mix, but it was Pacific's.

How is this related to which offensive lines were nominated for Team of the Week?

Ok. Now you are asking Blue to connect two thoughts together. This should be interesting...

Not much mention of Linfield or Whitworth on page 1 predictions.     One thought the Cats would lose.   I can understand based on last year.    Hope the buses arrive on time in Spokane this year.

My bet: CATs win, 31-24.    We are much better than a year ago.

I know you guys think that the entire universe is biased against LINFIELD, but as the current curator of Quick Hits, let me offer two pieces of insight:

- Our "who is most likely to be upset" section is generally not a direct pick-them-to-lose deal unless the panelist declares so explicitly.  "Most likely" is not equivalent to "Most definitely will".  I don't think Adam is picking Linfield to lose, just that they are the ranked team in the best position to be upset.  Truthfully, there weren't many good options for the upset picks this week.

- The relative lack of coverage in QH today on this game indicates to me that the panel doesn't think this game is going to be particularly close.  We're a loooong way from those preseason rankings that had Linfield and Whitworth nestled up there near the top 10.  Linfield's play has been fairly commensurate with our preseason expectations, Whitworth's has decidedly not been.

I know the gentlemen in this forum have been pumping this game up for weeks like Linfield is going up to Washington to play the Seahawks for the NWC title, but this isn't that.  I fully expect that Linfield is going to win this game decisively and by a very wide margin.  They've been the best team in the NWC hands down all year.

Oh Wally--why did you have to go and jinx us?

And to be fair, only some of this board's posters think there is a bias against Linfield.  The rest of us just think the bias is against the entire West Coast  ;D (mostly kidding)

Congrats Linfield!

You can un-pucker your back side now.  I am sure Redlands was keeping an eye on this one and that is a huge sigh of relief for the Bulldogs.
