Blue was right about Ithica.

Yes I won the Pick'em Contest 1 year so I do have credibility. And if Pat needs an analyst I only charge 2 cents per word + beer.  :o

Sorry Blue l don't think Pat is going to overpay you.

One more regular season game to win.     George Fox must not be overlooked.       Probably the best four loss team in the nation.

Regional Rankings: not much respect for the NWC.    Linfield is #7 in the west.   Very low for Linfield, historically.

Prove them wrong, Wildcats!

After NWC title.

1   Mount Union (19)   8-0   619   1
2   UW-Whitewater (6)   8-0   606   2
3   Wesley   8-0   565   3
4   St. John's   8-0   525   4
5   Linfield   8-0   520   5

DOC,
I would love to agree, but can't.    Linfield is a top 20, probably Top 15, but that is it.    They have a good chance to win first two rounds.     But, I don't see them past that.     Especially since no games will be at home.     And, of course, that have one more regular season game to win.     George Fox must not be overlooked.       Probably the best four loss team in the nation.

Who's not showing respect now?
Go Cats!

George Thompson

George Fox was good, but the Wildcats were better.     Linfield had almost twice as much yardage on offense, yet won by 7 points.
Playoff game 1 will be a tougher opponent, and not at home.

George....Fox is not a good team.... what they are is a legit 5 and 5 team this year in a very average conference.

The Cats are a good team IF they play 4 quarters of football.  Watching the past two games, they were a championship level team in about 2 quarters of each game....if they put it together for 4 quarters in the playoff run they could be tough to beat....if they don't well It'll be a long plane ride home.

Could be another Linfield/SJU game on the horizon!

Phone it in. Cats to the semis. Easy. Chapman is crap.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

George Thompson

Common opponents:

Pacific        -   Chapman won by 31.    Linfield won by 38.
Whitworth -   Chapman won by 7.     Linfield won by 7.
Redlands   -   Chapman won by 3.     Linfield lost by 8.

Chapman has home field advantage.

Linfield has to be a 7 point underdog.

But, you never know.    If the Wildcats play their A game for 4 quarters....

Are you thinking how that A game would fair in 6 inch snow flurries in Collegeville yet, George?

7 point 'dog?  No respect I tell ya.

Hope to meet any of you Linfield fans next weekend in Orange.  I am easy to find as I'll be on the one leg scooter with the busted up leg.  Feel free to say hello.

Massey Projections are out:

Cats 30
Chapman 24

His computer has a pretty good track record...his projection on the Whitworth game were right on the mark.  Win probability:  Linfield 67%....Chapman 33%....we will see on Saturday.
