Hey, D O.C.!

Great game, no doubt. And Congrats to Chapman. They deserved it.

That said, do you want to hear an extreeeeeeemely inconvenient truth....or not?

A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Hmm, Royal Family facts?
Sure, you are trustworthy.

Okay, here goes.

That......"feeling."

Well, it's our 4th straight such feeling when facing a playoff OT game. Lost 4 straight (Central, St. Thomas, UW-Oshkosh, and now...Chapman).

Ouch.

Those were forced fumbles by Chapman and not mistakes by Linfield.  Especially the second one on Keaton Wood.  Flat had that thing ripped out.

In the postgame Coach Smith said it took Linfield some time to adjust to Chapman's speed- which is probably not how most people thought that would go.

You are right.   We were outplayed.    Was proud Linfield came back from that.    It was not meant to be.

Probably the best five bucks spent for shear entertainment yesterday with Linfield and Chapman. Hands down best player on the field IMO Dillon Keefe. Caused fumble then ran recovery in on first Cat offensive play. Scored a TD on offense on a nice run then threw one in OT.  Had to be accounted for on every play by Cat's offense which was no easy task. Chapman's RB Mendoza from 4th qtr on was pretty much unstoppable with gashing runs. Artie Johnson wow.....came on strong toward end of season and topped it of with yesterday's performance. A lot of credit to Cat's young o-line that showed the development that let Artie shine and gave the Cat's a running game that will carry into next year. Big thanks to Seniors for efforts over the last four years...you leave the program in excellent shape. One last shout out to Cat fans who showed up fired up and loud at Catdome South.

A truly valiant effort for the Cats yesterday....down 14 points, three times and kept coming back.  They never gave up and showed the true desire to win.  Can't wait till next year with all the young freshman and sophomores who made up the majority of the team....lots and lots of young growing talent in this bunch.  Watch out next year for the Cats to run the board!

Did anyone notice the one Chapman TD of about 65 yards they attacked only the left side of the defense?

Gotta give Chapman credit...I will hope to see them match well against SJU.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!
