Travel to Canada??    Why?

If they are going to play a non-D3 college, why not Western Oregon, Southern Oregon or Eastern Oregon?    A lot more Wildcat fans would drive in-state.   I have difficulty understanding why they don't do things more favorable to their fan base.

Those schools have to want to schedule you. Plus, when you're scheduling a game in May for the upcoming season, you may not have all of the choices available that you'd like.

George....could Thomas Ford have instigated this game before he moved on to Washington?
Playing UP and DOWN is not advantageous  to either school.
Personally, I've seen enough of Southern Oregon and Western Oregon.

Simon Fraser should be a good road game test for the Cats.  SF will already have a game under the belts and if the Cats should prevail I think it just might help their standings in the eyes of those from the East that are occasionally somewhat skeptical of us Left Coast programs.  Simon Fraser beat Azusa Pacific last year who just barely lost to Western Oregon and Central Washington all D2 schools who had pretty good seasons (both ended 7-4 seasons).

SFU, 4 "O" linemen back, 280 to 311 pounds....it will be interesting how LF handles their size. If LF travels, their fans may out number SF Fans.
Less than two more years of Gavin.

I would be pretty happy to "be allowed" to sit in any venue, anywhere!

Have no idea if Thomas had anything to do with it.    Also, the pickins in D3 are very slim this late.    See  Open Dates.
I just hope we have a season.    Many in the SCIAC are not very confident in a football season this year.

I haven't been bored enough to watch that yet, but ya never know.

I did enjoy this read in the Sunday paper:

Check out the Supreme Court's ruling today.  This means women's sports died today.  So sad.

Could you explain how a ruling that gays and lesbians can't be fired just for being gay or lesbian has killed women's sports?

Good question.
