catjumper... those are impressive photos! Thanks!     Can't wait until the spring season.... if it happens?

The photos show up if I'm logged in; if I'm not, they don't appear in the post. Is that happening for others, or is it just my old  computer?

I resisted Windows 10 as long as I could, but it is worth it.

'Cats are wrapping up fall practice this week. For as crazy as 2020 has been it sounds like it's been a productive time for the 'Cats.

I had no idea what Spring Football was going to look like before this announcement.  And for the schools that do want to play, is it just 2, 3, 4 games?  Are these official games, scrimmages, etc?

Whatever the case, I hope all is well and our schools find a way to protect their students and staff and freaking survive this thing financially.

Two easy wins off the table for Linfield if they play. Now, will the streak be in question with some tough remaining conference opponents is the question.

New topic for discussion: offensive formations

I watched the USC vs. Oregon game intently.    Being a SC fan, I knew the game would be tough and Oregon deserved the win.

But, that said, I have been most disappointed for many years about USC's lack of a running game.    Whatever happened to Tailback U from the 60s and 70s?

Pass, pass, pass has been it.     Like Linfield, they run the Spread formation.    Yes, it is a very entertaining offense for the fans.   Does it win enough?    I have no stats to know.    And, I have never been a football coach.

What I do see though is the Spread formation creates a huge challenge for that lonely running back to find any room to run.    It looks pretty easy for the defense to see him with the ball.    It is either him or the QB and they are headed in different directions.

It is my belief that USC and Linfield have had some outstanding players on offense in the last 15 years.    But neither has won a National Championship in this period.   USC and Linfield both won last in 2004.     (WHAT A GREAT YEAR FOR ME!!)

Anyway, I would love to hear your thoughts on offensive formations.     Can the Spread win it all?

I see no REAL reason for Willamette and L&C to cancel their spring ball opportunity.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

How does ND sneak into the playoffs after getting drubbed by Clemson just last night?  Obviously Alabama will be eager to take on a humiliated Irish team in this "Money Ball" game.  In my worthless opinion, of course.

Because they beat Clemson previously. They need to expand to 8 playoff teams.

Merry Christmas to all you Wildcats, Bearcats, Boxers, Bruins, Pioneers, Lutes, Loggers, Pirates and Blues.

Puget Sound announced their spring schedule: 4 games total, home and home against PLU and Whitworth starting the first weekend in Feb.

I'm assuming with Willamette and L&C not playing football, the NWC put the 3 Washington Schools and 3 Oregon Schools into pods.  So I would expect to see Linfield vs Pac and GFU twice starting in Feb.
