It's like spending a summer vacation in San Francisco, but you are warm all over watching 12
, 2, 3 ,4 6.    8-)

I'm so blessed to get to watch my family,( son coach while my grandsons play pitch and catch on the field ).  It warms the body and sole.

It's on to Minnesota'.   Do they still bake fresh bread on campus?  :D

A note to George Thompson . .

I'm betting you are familiar with the character Sad Sack in the Beetle Bailey comic strip.
I'm betting you remember the Little Abner comic strip with the character who had a dark cloud over his head everywhere he went when others didn't..

This LINFIELD is almost as good as they get. Enjoy!

The Island is real and not likely to change with the present system.

Who's planning on coming to MN?  Let us know if you have any questions (PM me, if you wish).  Looking forward to hosting the Wildcats in Collegeville again.

Hi DOC,

Sorry, I never cared for comic strips.

You are right about this Linfield team.    So far, could be as good as any I have ever seen.     Saint John's will tell how good they are.   We should be able to give them a very tough game.    I have to say we are underdogs because of the home field advantage and playing in Minnesota in late November.

The darn biased selection committee totally favors the Midwest and North regions on home games.    It is a VERY unfair system.   Any top 8 team in D3 poll should have two home games, automatically.     Besides that, all home games should be a simple coin toss the Sunday beforehand.

Are you heading to Minnesota?     I want to, but I can't afford to get away more than twice during playoffs.

I'll be there but will be working the game (shooting vid). I'm assuming the fans are still right along the sideline like back in '03?

I believe they keep them back a bit further now, but no guarantees.  Being Thanksgiving weekend, I don't think it'll be too packed.

I can confirm. It's ridiculous how close fans were allowed to be in the past. Had to work around them when I was shooting photos. Photographers are now required to be 3 yards off the sideline. I think it's an NCAA rule. Fans further back.

Probably created after the CLU Photographer interfered with play during a game against Linfield back in the 2012 :) :) :)  Man that guy ran fast when Wildcat11 pointed him out as the culprit!
