Keep looking for the Linfield/Whitworth BX on the Scores page..... ??? ??? ???

Same! It requires Linfield or Whitworth uploading, as always.

Whitworth was the home team so it's their responsibility I would guess.

They would definitely be first but both schools have access.

Hope McNabb is ready to play this Saturday. He's starting to remind me a lot of David Russel. Speaking of running backs.... any info on Connor Morton..... ? I'm not sure I've seen him playing this year???

Conner McNabb is a hell of a football player.

I would imagine that Brett's been in touch but I just found out I have a connection y to Calvin and Oliver Macy up at Lake Oswego HS.
Maybe on the rebound for us.

Comparison Smith-Eaton after first four games as starters...Smith 73/188 for 914 and 6TD's...Eaton 87/134 for 1143 and 12 TD's. Games 3 and 4 for Smith were playoffs HSU and UMHB. Cat's rolled HSU then lost 31-20 to UMHB. Smith great game against HSU but tough go against UMHB but Cru didn't shine in that game either we just made boatload of mistakes. All in all Eaton is measuring up nicely so far and l think showing a lot of poise.

Hate to see that!

Shout out to Luke Balash, PLU alum from '99, taking the Lathrop Malemutes to their second straight Alaska Division 2 football championship.

Since losing to CLU, PLU has been rolling.  Impressive.

Am not happy with the volume of unsportsmanlike penalties by the Wildcats... is it sheer arrogance?  Is it lack of accountability?  Is it lack of repercussions?  These are 100% selfish penalties and need to stop.  I have zero idea why #3 was still in the game after ripping off the DB's helmet.  We have lots of depth at WR and both he and #4 needed to have sat for a long time after their respective penalties... but they were quickly back in the game...

I also do not care how much junk was talked by the other team... let your play do your talking.

I always think back to the unsportsmanlike penalty against UMHB the last time we beat them... we were dead down 21-0 and just missed on 3 and 10... their DB gave the fingers across the throat motion to our bench, got a 15 yard penalty for it... we ended up scoring to make is 21-7, next drive for them we re recovered a fumble and scored to make it 21-14 and a brand new game... if that DB hadn't done what he did, we were going to be down 28-0 and game over... he cost his team the game by being selfish...

Looks like a good one coming up against the Lutes... hopefully we will show up ready to play smart, disciplined football.

Ironically, the only people still scared of this virus, are the vaccinated.

Agree 100%.  That is NOT good Linfield football.    Coaches need to be tougher on those penalties.

Solid comments previously regarding the results and slippery slope effect of relaxed standards.
It's not unlike the "Thousand Cuts" theory of failure.
"Linfield Football" has always meant something very special.  Like most valuable things that means
serious unflappable discipline to the mission.  Winning football games...sure!  But molding young guys into
solid mature men is equally valuable.
