Insightful.   ;)
Go Cats!

Another roll cats victory...

Linfields defense mauled them, in the end. Fox looks like a real team, has a few good guys, and is well coached. For Linfield to lose to them though, they'd have to gift them a few td's. Once Linfield's d line started getting pressure, it was lights out. Time to stay healthy and get ready to host playoff games.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Dear 'Cats -- Your Tommie friends are sharing the love in their own special way. ;)

UST still the biggest a-hole group of D3 fans I've ever encountered. They can kick rocks.

Love you too buddy!

Had a lot of fun at the game today extending the streak on campus against a west coast squad.

Thought the 'Cats weren't at peak performance from start to finish, especially the first quarter plus. George Fox had a lot to do with that, as it looked like a pretty good team and the Bruins always seem pretty geeked up to show they belong on the same field with the 'Cats. Impressed with their QB in some ways - namely, early on avoiding sacks while under pressure - but not in others - foremost, his proclivity for throwing at the feet of his receivers on short outs.

Having watched Linfield dismantle Pacific Lutheran last weekend, and then have to work to put away George Fox on Saturday, it's hard to see how PLU beat GFU - except for the turnover factor. The Lutes grabbed three turnovers in that game, including a pick-6, and had a short drive for another score. And turnovers were a big factor in the 'Cats keeping the Bruins in check and also scoring points to extend Linfield's lead.

Hope Morton's injury isn't severe, but Martinez has impressed the past two games.

By the end of the day, that's a very good win against a quality team on its home field, and topping a team that seems to look forward to playing the 'Cats as the highlight of its season.

As for the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties levied against the 'Cats, they seemed to come from a good place ...    ;)

Maybe we could get a rule change on that.  Sort of like when the ref picks up a flag and says, "There is no intentional grounding because the quarterback was out of the pocket."  Something like, "There is no foul on the play, the late hit came from a good place."

I'm sure you're cool but both times out I ran into too many a-holes (fans, staff, security) that it left quite the impression.

Visiting UST is the polar opposite of traveling to UMHB.

Hoping Connor Morton can heal up and play..... went down on a flukey tackle pretty much out of bounds.

Nice to see Swanson back on the field.....

I don't recall too much for interactions with the Linfield folks in 2015. I could see some issues but based on my interactions with Linfield folks on this blessed site, that's a two way street

Ralph Turner

I sat on the Linfield side at a Linfield at HSU game back in the day. The Linfield fans were a lot of fun.

Linfield fans are good folk except for Bluenote, but I heard that his mother dropped him on his head as a baby, so he's alright, in my book.

Tommie fans are twatwaffles, all 7 of them.

A tradition unrivaled...

Most places we travel to have really good staff and security people. I've enjoyed almost all of my interactions with them. UMHB is a very special place.  They go above and beyond. Never been to St. Thomas. Sounds like the Caruso effect.

Nah, the types of issues folks identify with UST (some of which I'm sympathetic to, as an out of state transplant student) long predate the Caruso era. It's a variety of things.

Andy Jamison - Walla Walla Wildcat

Hats off to the Fox defense! Linfield started on Fox's side of the field many, many, many times and came away empty handed too many times to count.  We kept wanting to run the ball when it wasn't going anywhere and they were giving us short passes.... definitely not our game callers best game... take what the d is giving and quit trying to force the run...

Good to see us have to deal with adversity and take care of business in a hostile environment.

I guess I am wrong, but the continued penalties for unsportsmanlike behavior is beyond old.   I'd like to see guys lose playing time when they get an unsportsmanlike penalty NO MATTER the provocation.  Make them sit for a quarter or half or in one guy's case, an entire game.

We have two games where we are going to have to stay sharp as they can be look ahead games... I'm not worried about winning but rather not being mentally sharp as well as having needless injuries.  I want McNabb to be held out of practice for the next two weeks to try and get him healthy as he is banged up.  Morton's hamstring injury looked pretty serious.  We have great depth at RB which is going to be needed.
