Looks like I will have to put the flip flops away and wear shoes tomorrow it's supposed to be chilly. Wildcat vs Sagehen = Feathers.

With Whittier dropping their program, how about the NWC/SCIAC potentially merging?

No thank you.  :P :-*

Take the West Coast from two automatic qualifier playoff berths to one, with teams having to beat out 13 others to earn one rather than being on top of 5 or 6? Why go for that?

Long term survival. California is a graveyard of former football programs, with two SCIAC programs folding within the last few years. Who is the NWC going to schedule if the SCIAC goes away?

May have to double up with one of the two games non conference as SCIAC does now.

Well, a C+ effort was enough to take care of the sage hens. Pomona's team was well coached and game. Their fans were totally classless and complete jerks. They deserve their teams slight moral victory.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Pomona-Pitzer was far better than most expected, on both offense and defense.   It was very close for 3 quarters.

LF coaches made some adjustments that really paid off in the 4th Qtr.

Now, it gets even tougher.  Bethel will be a challenge.

GO CATS! GO!

So it's a Baptist Brawl in the Catdome?!  Should be interesting.  Have the two ever played before?

I don't believe so.

Watch out for Hazzben.  He's kind of a tool.

He's from Minnesota, so that's a given. :D

I think the same sentiment might be felt about Cat fans somr times. I know I'm guilty.
