Simon Fraser just dropped football, effective immediately. Is Linfield stuck at eight games now or do they have time to find a replacement?

Sorry to see them go. My one trip to SF while at PLU comes with fond memories.

Actually it says the conference won't allow them in AFTER 2023. All reports out of the school indicate the program is cancelled immediately. But I would say it is a bit unclear.

We'll be fine on backfilling that game. Also, Linfield is absolutely crushing it with recruiting this year. It could be an exceptional class.

I've not reached out to anyone because I figured it's crazy enough right not but I wouldn't be surprised if Linfield replaced the game with another D3 school instead of NAIA/D2

Wow good for them and Denison and while I didn't think HSU to Linfield was going to happen I hate what I am hearing from their folks about not being able to find an opponent.

Off season bad news with our receiver moving to D1 to give it a try then  better news with Dennison filling a hole in òur schedule with a  home and home.

Simon Fraser AD one month after football was cancelled, hired a consultant to study if they could bring it back, due to outcry by past players. Youth need football more than ever to counter all the Snowflakes in the world.
