What did TLU do - send film from a previous season? And what rule changes did it bring about?

It was actually St Johns famous coach who the rule change was named for. The rule is the last 3 current games must be sent to the opposing team I believe.

Yeah, I know there were some shenanigans between SJU/Gags and Central/Schipper in the playoffs back in the day too. Essentially Central got game film that had all the scoring drives of the games edited out. Let the NCAA rep know, so he told SJU to have a guy drive down overnight to bring the full film. Schipper and Central coaches were up until the wee hours Saturday of the game breaking down the complete film and scoring drives.

There was also a shenanigan with Mount Union, where they sent only the tight shot from the end zone from tackle to tackle for the 1993 game, the one where Mount beat them down.

2021 SJU vs Linfield, the 1st half of game film of SJU playoff win from prior week mysteriously was corrupt on the SD card so the Johnnies sent over the broadcast footage instead.....

Another funny story about that SJU playoff game.  I was at the team hotel out in MN and a Linfield defensive coach had to make some photo copies of gameplan materials for the players.  The Coach INSISTED that he run the photocopier himself and not have the hotel staff run it for him. 

I thought that was a little paranoid until later that night when a SJU fan (TDT) sent me a text message "I hear the Linfield staff has some issues with the hotel accommodations  "

Looks like we're headed to the Catdome once more. Always enjoy playing a historic program, should be a big time atmosphere in McMinnville per usual.

How would you guys rate your Linfield team compared to the 2021 team? That was the last time we met.

Bring the A game anything else will be a downer. This is on par with any championship team. All us Townies agree.

Should be a classic battle next Saturday.

TLU wasn't ready for that yesterday. This is a very good Linfield team. No Brett Elliot, Sam Riddle, Alex Hoff type of apex player but I don't see a weakness. Kicking game is strong, return game is strong, great d-line/LB's, etc, etc.
