Pat, thanks for your work on your playoff projections. This is where things really get fun. I imagine it can't be real easy to project some of the teams when there is still a couple of weeks left of important games. Interesting how you can give the scoop on all the regions playoff projections, and the NCAA, when it finally gives the latest region rankings, only gives half of the regions (per the D3 home page right now).
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Foss,

The NCAA folk representing the West and South regions needed a little more time to review Pat's work before submitting 'their' ranking.  8)

The "West bracket" playoffs are interesting. I thought that is how they might shake out. Whitworth going to Oxy makes perfect sense, or at least it made sense last year with the Bearcats. Another game vs the warts? well, we have had one blow-out and one nail-biter, so a 3rd game would be interesting.

It is almost wu week, does this wuwucats will be back?
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

It's definitely a "best case" for the NWC to have Whitworth go to Oxy.  Oxy may have a great offense, but they also like to give up a lot of points.

It looks like based on Pat's projections, the Wartburg/Central outcome will go a long way as to who the Cats may match up with.

The Fly Swatters are being dusted off this weekend and polished for another beat down of the Bearcats!

Pat...

Seems kind of odd that the NCAA would only release two regions.  Have they ever done that before?  Do you think it has anything to do with the West and the South being loaded so they are taking their time figuring out what to do.  They probably don't want to back themselves into a corner and snub somebody that they have ranked pretty high regionally...maybe the fix is in!   ;)

Lever Street

If Wittworth plays @ Oxy in the playoffs, the Rats will win by 3 TD's.
You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

Don't forget to vote for Elliott!! It's been a week!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

I'm sure it's just a matter of operator error on the web site. I sent an e-mail to the right people.

I'll see what I can do to post up the Linfield Alumni team roster tomorrow.

Looks like a decent turnout on the Alumni side.  I hope that we can give the young kids a good look on Saturday.

I just hope my shoulder doesn't fall off after the first hit.  :)

Taz took a group picture of the Seniors. Let me know if you want one.

Notice that I have shut up about the Heisman stuff? Do you think my karma could get back to zero?
