Welcome to the NWC board.   :D

Inches- Good read. Great analysis. Beating Linfield will be difficult because of all you mentioned.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Yeah...that or it might be easier because of all that he mentioned here. DenS is on to something - why post so many of Linfield's tendancies for the whole D3 world to see? Then again, maybe he got enough things wrong that the information will be of little help. (FYI - Haz scored early on a bubble screen not a Fly sweep...and I haven't seen the play since the day it happened.)

D and Dens...

That's the first thing I thought when i read that diatribe!  On the other hand...none of that info is anything that can't be seen on film.  Guts, I'll be waiting for the injury report on Friday, I'd love to know who has trouble moving to their right or left because of a bad ankle or something!

Don't sweat it Fellas...

First...It's not like D3 coaches are frantically searching these boards looking for Linfield offensive secrets; and what I have mentioned are not exactly secrets.  Second...if a casual fan like myself can make these observations watching the games, certainly professional coaches can from watching hours of game films..and I am sure they have already.  Third...  Its one thing to know you opponent and "how" to stop them...it is quite another to go out on the field and actually execute that plan with Linfield actively working against you.  I my opinion the majority teams just don't have the personel to match up effectively.  Finally, ..the point was to make the conversation here more interesting and about actual game strategy instead off just shouting....  " Linfield 49 - Oxy 10 ....Its in the Bank!!!!"  ... which happens to be my prediction.

ps:  you are correct ,Haze on a Bubble screen...he ran a fly sweep the play before. ;)

Inches  TMI,
You said what we already know.  In all cases we know that the Cats have talent galore.  My take is that we have superior coaching and killer gameplans.

DensLa/D-Train....I thought the same thing. Maybe a disgruntled NWC coach who dislikes getting beat up every year? Doesn't seem like a Linfield  loyalist would go on such an extensive diatribe which basically can be used as a plan of action against Linfield (although it won't work because no-one can stop our talent and game plan/execution). I've never seen a fan from another team do that, well maybe AB, but he was in a mental institute. I wonder if he also faxed his report directly to all potential playoff teams in greater detail along with some game film and his thoughts for stopping each type of play they may encounter? Anyway...it won't matter.....the options are many and new wrinkles make it tough for any opposing team. Just a curious post....

TopCat1....just an informal jam session at the club....hope TopCat2 can sit in!

The Monkey StompTM was introduced to us by RPI in '03.  It occurs when you beat an opponent by 21 points.

The Johnnies will be opening one of these this Saturday.

This saturday the cats will open a can of whoop a** for sure.

A can? It will be more like a case of Whoop A**

Oh Golly, GeeWiz, Shazam - BlueNote playing at the Elks Friday night.  I will definately be there and wouldn't miss it.  That is as soon as the MHS game is over.  Down to the final 16 and they are still in it.  Coach McAnally is really getting things going and the team believing in themselves (with some great help from the Dutchman and others I might add).  Tough game against Barlow, but MHS being a 2nd half team it should be a good game if they can keep it close in the first half.  Game will be over by 9:15 or so and the TopCat will be on  his way to tha Elks for some good company and  the flowing of the brew.

Bluenote - I hope you kick it up a bit.  I think #2 Topcat may also be coming and I am sure he would love to hear you tickle those ivories and say hello.  He may even bring Mrs TopCat #2, but then maybe Mrs Topcat and Mrs Topcat #2 will decide not to come and we can' embarrass ourselves too bad.

I know TuxGuy will be there.  He may not remember he was there at the TG Saturday, but I am sure several of us will remind him about Friday Night.  I guess we better all get ready to call him early Saturday to remind hiim its a noon game.

Swede may show up and I am sure he would love to buy everyone a round and a round, and a round.  I guess we will all get the run around from Swede.

Looking forward to seeing you DC1.  Fallon is a nice place, spent 8 months there in 73-74 at NAS Fallon and remember many of the Phillies rather well   8) 8)

If Swede is buying I'll be there if they let me in...... ;D

GHC,
I saw a big Morton Salt truck heading north (with police escort) this morning and the line just moved up.  Cats 45,  Skinned Tigers 17... "phone it in"

"On the road again", heading north to 7 Feathers next stop.  Lots of fog on I-5 this morning..

Go Cats..

DT48,

That is what I was thinking too...at least he didn't give an injury report

I really don't mind that much what Inces wrote.  On one hand, any coach that has film will see these things and understand what Linfield is trying to do from an offensive stand point.  On the other hand....why in the hell would you even put something like that up in the first place?  Like blue said, I've never seen another poster EVER go into that much detail in regards to their OWN team.....and there are many former players and some former coaches who post on here.

Yeah, every logical bone in my body says "it doesn't matter" because other coaches will see that on film.......but the conspiratorial side of me just does not like seeing that kind of material out in a public setting.

Inces...you seem like you'll have a lot to offer but just do us a favor and keep the detailed breakdowns to yourself.  Heck, you could go back to that post and take it down if you would like.   ::)

Has any one seen Justin Buckner as of late? He seems to have falling off the planet...
