Sabretooth Tiger:

I gave Oxy its props for its playoff run last year. However I will now state it again:
1 weak conference schedule + 3 weak out of conference games = a solid spankin' by the wildcats. Given Linfield is really a phenom this year...but I still say the top 4 teams in the NWC would have blemished Oxys perfect regular season.

I hope the SCIAC takes notice and will now play other opponents beside L&C, Colorado College & Chapman.

#6 in the nation...no way.

Congrats Linfield.
Nice try Oxy.

63-21. Elliott schhol record for yards. 7 td's. Yes. He is amazing.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Cats -63
Oxy  - 21

Seven minutes to play - Oxy has the ball.

Bubrub,

Your handle pretty much sums up your post. Time to put the crack pipe down.

Tough draw for the SCIAC champ. Next up, the 'Cobbers.

Elliott, 31 for 41 - 525 yards, 7 TDs

And get this statistic (I wonder how many times 2 receivers on the same team at any college level have ever put up this type of yardage):

Brandon Hazenberg, 13 catches, 2 TDs, 217 yards
Casey Allen: 8 catches, 4 TDs, 222 yards

These types of numbers would cause most video games to blow up.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Just back from the game.........the Champs showed why they're still on top of the mountain. Absolutely ridiculous day for the offense, and the defense came up big when they had to.

Turning point was definitely Collins fumble.  Too bad such a talent is stuck in the SCIAC.

Coobers, if you don't want to break down the film, then we'll just replay the performance next weekend.

Congrats to the 'Cats.  You left no doubt today.  I still loves me my Tigers . . . we'll see you next year.

As for the rest of this year, "Go 'Cats" . . . take it all the way and bring that championship trophy back to the west coast for the second year in a row.

Oregon City Cat,
How would you compare this years' game vs. last years' Oxy game in the Regional final?  On the webcast it sounded like the Cats were just awsome and dominating even more so than last year.

Some of the other mid-west Boards are saying that the only reason the Cats won was that Oxy was just a poor team and should have not been rated as highly and the Cats really aren't that good.

I disagree, but wonder how you would stack up the two games.  After all Oxy did beat Concordia last year on the road.

WOW, what a display by the 'CATS. Catnipped? I think OXY got Cat rolled today. Elliott was unbeliveable today as was Allen and Haze. Watch out Cobbers!
