Alright you fools from el nino country. All this talk about SJU has made me wonder one thing; do you know ANYTHING about the CC-SJU game from this year? We were unstoppable against SJU. Their means of scoring...Hail Mary! Not to mention a last second bomb for 80-some yards to win the game. Not to dwell in the past...

Your underpreparedness isn't a bad thing by any means but had we not had given up one last second bomb to the Jonnies, do you think we'd be #9 right now? Piss on the #6 california team that couldn't bring it.

Wake up.

You were unstoppable except for all of the times your were stopped. Virtually the same oxy team you spit on went to Minnesota last year.and beat a Cobb team with a better record than this year's. The feeling of calm on here is because we are confident. I am sure that Concordia will play hard, but that isn't going to get them an upset.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Cobb boy,

That pass gets longer as time goes on?  around 75 max I think?  and from what I heard from  a few J's that's just how they drew up the game plan . to LET you think you were in the game right until the last 25sec. .  More press for JG..  ;)

You haven't played a team that had a pair to match their mouths. I bet you've broken down every game to decide that concordia doesn't have what it takes. Concordia is better than SJU. You talking about SJU now is funny to me since it's all hyped up.

So let's talk about CC's "stopped" moments. Then we can talk about how bush-league the NWC is. You're all riding on last season's title, thus the mouths. Perhaps you haven't read the postings in the MIAC's page.

Well, I'm gonna say it.

I am not one to complain that Linfield Doesn't get enough press ont his board, but I have to question why the Statistical Spotlight Feature on today's site doesn't have anything about BE's 7 TDs and 525 yards passing against an undefeated team in the playoffs in just over 3 quarters of a football game.....Don't get mad Pat, but what gives?

Statistical spotlight always spotlights one player from each region. The best performance in the West was the guy who set the NCAA record for sacks in a game, and beat it by a sack and a half. I feel confident about that.

That's how they drew it up? They were going to get walked on by us until in the last 20-some seconds, settle the game down by throwing a 75 yard touchdown?

That's funny

Cord-
I would imagine that if the Cobbers get down by 10-14 early, it's much tougher for them to come back.

I agree completely.  Hopefully that doesn't happen.  :)

Monrovia Cat:

Don't get me started on that lack of press for the cats right now ..    But you do have to (add-mitt) ..  Smells just a little fishy. :o

After all compared to who got the ink.   Let's see 525 to 4 hundred & something..  31 for 41 beats 28 for 39 anyday.  And what about the TWO over 200 yards WR..  ::)

How about the second best QB in D-3 too,,  something like over 300 yards passing  and 175 on the ground and lost?

Great Job Cats..  ..  Keep up the good work. ;D

Thanks pat it all makes since NOW. ;)

Monrovia-
As ridiculous as BE's, etc., #s were, I think they're kind of expected and not as big of news when they do happen.

I hope that Pat doesn't yell at you too much.

Nah, I anticipated the question might come up. You can pretty much count on one Linfield fan or another crying foul over a perceived slight on the front page. And shoot, it has been almost a week since Linfield was the lead photo on the front, and four whole weeks since Brett Elliott last made the Statistical Spotlight.

Uh huh ... but it doesn't beat an NCAA-record 6½ sacks, my man.

Oh wait, oh no, he's going to smite me? Darn.

I never knew that rackin up 218 yards of total offense was dominating the oppenent.  I was not able to attend the game, but what i have been told, the "hail mary" that you speak of was a result of Koafed having days to find the open reciever.

cawcdad,

If you don't get extra tickets from anyone on the board, I'd call Polly in the athletic dept. office, and see what she can do for you.

Wildcat'64

The boys over on the MIAC board are getting rather nasty about the B. E. --- if they want to "stir" up the Cats and give them a little additional motivation to take the Cobbers to the woodshed for a good old fashioned Catnipping they are probably playing with dynamite that is going to explode in their face!

I don't think the Cats need any additional motivation, but if they read some of this junk that's being spewed about the best QB in Division III, they might be inclined to send a real message to the Cobbers!

The Catdome Awaits !!!

I'll take the finders fee on the tickets.
