Does this Elliot cat appreciate all the B.J.'s he gets daily on this board. As an outsider, I ask, what are you going to do with yourselves when he's gone?

Greg,

Are fans from the MWC even allowed to have posting rights outside their own board?  I mean, come on......you have to be a fan of one of the most insignificant football conferences in the nation.  I know you had that one guy that told the SJU crowd that the green knights were "#1" but that didn't seem to help the MWC playoff record.

How significant are you in the grand scheme of things, buddy?

Greg my man,
The Cats will continue to do what they have been doing for the last 50 years, WIN baby,  Some say Linfield  some say Winfield

retiredoldrat,

I'm still trying to figure out if oldpa is a UWW alum or just a WIAC fan. I'd also like to know if the guy....errrr.... I mean cranky old bastard (I think he prefers this)....... is coming out to the Catdome for the game. He'd be disappointed to know that he might actually have a good time.  ;D
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Foss, not an alum. Have five kids who are. Two from Oshkosh, two from WW, and one from Eau Claire. Had one son play football at Oshkosh for 4 years, and one play at WW for 4 years. So I guess I am a WIAC fan.

In an earlier post I stated Mrs. Oldpa said I could go to the game, but I'm chicken to fly.

If the weather looks really perfect, as far as snow goes, I may drive out, but it's a long shot at this point.

Foss,

I think the cranky old bastard posted on the WIAC board that he doesn't fly well.

If he's not too grumpy perhaps he'll respond to the alum part.

Trust me, he knows how to have a good time.   ;D

I will post a picture later when I get my stuff together.

oldpa,

Okay, that explains why you seem to like more than one WIAC team. I never got it until now. I know it doesn't sound likely at this point, but if you are able to make it give us the heads up.

retiredoldrat,

I gathered the "knows how to have a good time" from your board. I'm surprised some of you even remember the game.  :)

Oldpa,

Save your roadtrip for the Stagg Bowl.   ;)

I thought of that right away. Unfortunately, we are having our family Christmas on the 17th. We will be watching on TV, wheather it's WW or Linfield playing MU. I actually picked MU to win it all in the pick'um.

Touchdown Tommy

oldpa,

Please refer to Mount Union College not as MU but rather the preferred acronym of the MIAC, MUCk.  Thanks very much.

Thanks BD, and I also left out a game between Sat. and the Stagg.

That's OK, Oldpa.  Whoever wins on Saturday- UWW or LC -will get to the Stagg. That's in the bank!!

Mrs. Oldpa won't let me gamble.
You've got yourself one smart gal. I'll give you some good karma for listening to her. :) Go get a flight, bring the Mrs. and stay for a few days. Neighbor is from Wisc. has a son that works at River Falls. I even have relatives in Wisc. as does Topcat1.
