Oldpa,

If history is any indication, that game right before the Stagg is a cupcake for the West region champ...something to the tune of 52-0...imagine coming up with commentary for that game...brutal...

Just a little Linfield FUN FACT....Portlandtribue.com's Kerry Eggers wrote in his column today that Linfield SID, Kelly Bird, reported that the Linfield/Cobber game had 1,444 internet listeners.

Looks like there will be even more this weekend when the 'Cats pluck the 'Hawks......

Mrs. Oldpa won't let me gamble.
You've got yourself one smart gal. I'll give you some good karma for listening to her. :)

Hey swede,  how in world I'm going to make my double wide pmt this month? ::)
You've been nominated to buy drinks fri. night at the Elks  ;D topcat bought mine last fri. so he doesn't owe me anymore.

Do any of our posters have access to the WW films?  It seems that "three3's" on the WIAC board has seen the cats on film and we look a lot slower than he was expecting.  Just curious if anyone has seen the Warhawks and has any thoughts

Gig Harbor Cat

OK boys I have decided that MOJO and I will be on the road Friday and that I will hit the Elks for a couple of drinks with the boys.  What time are you guys getting started ?  And no only drinks, no chowder

Gig Harbor Cat

I have access to all kinds of stuff and as far as WW

ITS A SECRET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wildcat'64

desert cat,

Are we going to have some game film  to show at the Elks Friday night like we did last year during the playoffs?

What time is everyone slated to show Friday eve? I don't want TopCat to get a head start on me so I might have to stop by the Blue Moon in the afternoon after getting in to Mac.  Of course if Top Cat is a no show again this week we  may have to penalize him another 15 yards.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Did that actually say the Linfield Cheerleaders.... :D  NOW, it has been years since I was in Mac and and least a couple of years since I went to a game (sucks to be in SoCal when the SCIAC won't play the cats.....) but I recall the last look I had at a wildcat cheerleader was in line at the "All You Can Eat" buffet.....maybe the success of the football program has improved the uhm....."quality" of the cheerleading programs as well......Help me out those of you who are more able to be AT the games!

Monrovia- Cheerleaders read these boards too...   :-\

I think oldpa may play the tuba. He's sure full of air.   ;D

But can he keep a groove...  :o

I just took a closer look at the Butcher's picture.  The chick in the bikini must be something to make the wall of fame.  I also loved the picture of our beloved moderator's grill.  If nothing else the combination of the two should help keep your karma from getting to low. ;D

Dr. Sparky

Has anyone checked to see if three3s projector is running the films at the right speed?

Berezowitz says... "Linfield is better than they were last year when I saw them in the championship game," he adds. "We haven't faced a team like this, no doubt about it. I think Linfield is the No. 1 team, and then there are others after that."

Smart man...very smart man 8)

Wildcat Pre-game analysis
Essentially "this years" coaching staff is same as "last year"...a staff that has proven it knows how to build team character, individual character and win it all...not enough can be said about this factor.
In "last years" Stagg Bowl..."this years" coaching staff found a way to blunt the running attack of not one excellent running back, but three excellent running backs.
Player's playoff experience....and playing under pressure.
Brett Elliot...we know about him...throwing lasers last report I heard 8)
Offensive line that protects Elliot even against a team like the Cobbers who had mucho sacks over the season.
Rumor control has it that Elliot has booked the offensive line for lunch all week.
The Wildcat receiving corps...probably the best in D3 and possibly most of D2 and much of DI-AA...my opinion of course.
Cat Defense improves with age and can hold its own anywhere any time.
13 interceptions by WW's QB does not bode well for the Warhawks...Cat Defense must be drooling...will be looking forward to finding a way to exploit that.
Don't expect to see the Cats give the ball away on poor ball handling.
Whoever is spreading the rumor that the Cats are slow...KEEP spreading it!
I've got a feeling that Locey has not shown all of his cards this year...keep watching.
The game is at the CATDOME.
We can run too...and can keep your defense honest.
Many are saying this years Cats are better than last years and perhaps Linfield's all- time best.
As I told OJohnny93 last week...perhaps the impossible headline could happen...MIAC Is Out.
Another possibility is that...Cobbers are a better team than the Warhawks...just a possibility 8)
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!
