Thanks for the clips WC11. Brings back memories of a couple of pretty entertaining games. Too bad we ended up on the short end both times.

Oh BTW, that was a great hit but no matter how many times you show it MJ still caught the ball for a 1st down.

Great career MJ, you are one tough guy.  So sorry that it had to end for you the way it did.

Just a few more facts on Nooy;
In 2002 he was rated one of the top 10 QBs coming out of Oregon. The list included the current starters at WSU and OSU. It also included Trevor Schearer one of the CAT returning QBs.
Nooy's claim to fame: one interception in his high school career not to mention a 6-6 and one TD game against WSU as a Soph at Idaho.
Speaking of OSU, it could be that the CATS will be getting another transfer to shore up the D line. He was All-State first team and a player of the game on Defense in the Les Schwab game. Did not suit up at OSU.  A great kid and a potential DIII All-American!!

Light n Darkness,

Wow, that's awsome.  I bet not many knew that.  I'm sure some of Coach Rutchman's dynamics rubbed off on him.

I think Brett Elliott's #5 should be ritired. If I am correct, Mark Wickman, Scott Brocius and Don Porter's numbers have been retired. How does everyone else feel about it?

It's around 5:30 A.M. and yes, I spelt Scott's last name wrong. :-[

Ritired? LOL your a good man Swede. However 2 years in a Linfield jersey I wouldn't think that qualifies a player's # to be retired.

Not a bad idea. However, he wasn't the only #5 on the roster. Linfield uses a lot of double numbers due to the size of the team.

I know that Brett set all kinds of records. But, isn't it to early to consider him for the hall? Look at Matthews. How long was he in a Linfield jersey? And he had some records until Elliott broke them. Was there any let's induct Matthews to the hall? Some day Elliott will be inducted. But let's wait and see what happens before we start the Elliott to the hall campain.

Tez
Looking back Linfield did have a player for a couple years who went on and played in the NFL for 4 years or so yet he has not been inducted into the hall either.

Linfield fans--my girls got back from the Hula Bowl without Brett's autograph on my picture.  I think they were too afraid to ask him.  Oh, well.  Sigh.  To whom could I send the picture that I had sent all the way to Hawaii for Brett to sign so that he can sign it?  It's a picture of me with Chuck Humble and his huge Purple Linfield flag taken by Tim Marsh in the Stagg Bowl parking lot just before the game where Linfield won their National Championship game.  If you could help, please send me a personal message or an e-mail.  I would really appreciate it a lot.

Okay, I'm claiming the cold weather award for the 2006 winter season.  I was wondering why my face was burning while walking to work this morning.  Checked the temp at work... -50 C
I don't know what that equals in F...but I do know that -40F and -40C are equal 8)

If Elliott is not an automatic HOF member than the Linfield HOF is harder to get into than Fort Knox. I do agree though that a little time will only make his #'s seem that much more amazing.

What about running backs??? We need 'em!  Any word of any quality RBs coming our way?

Greetings friends including GHC, WC11, and others.  Great to be back after my 15 month hiatus.

Early line outta TDT's casino: Cats lose 2 ballgames next fall and sneak into the playoffs with the 8th seed.
