Wildcat 11 and anybody else:
I am having problems with my Windows Media Player playing some of the clips.  #10 and #9 play from a web page called putfile.com but #7 and #8 seem to only open with WMP.  It says that it "can't find network," which is crap.  Anyway, I have checked to see that it is not set to "work offline" and have messed with the streaming proxies and still nothing.  Any ideas short of paying Microsoft for help?  It works playing anything already on computer just not playing from a web page.  Tried to save the file and and then play it on WMP and I do get the first few seconds and then it stops!     ??? ??? ???   Any ideas?

I was going to suggest saving the file first but you already tried that.  Hmm.. Are you running the latest version of media player (version 10 is latest but #9 worked wll too)?  It seems there were some "issues" with versions 7 and 8 that was shipped with the original software of many computers.

Another thing you might try is, once you have downloaded the file, go to your web browse and tell it to work offline (under "file" on  the main tool bar). That might stop windows media player from trying to look online for a source. The two were really designed to work hand in hand.

May not work but worth a shot.

Really now...Certainly, you of all people know the rule of law...three lucky wins against the Cats definely falls into the law of averages...readily...So in my judgment, they just don't count...case closed 8)

There must be a mad smiter running around. ::) I haven't posted in a few days and my karma dropped 1. Ah, such are the vagaries of anonimity and the internet. Whoever it is needs to be careful. See link  ;D

Yeah, I was wondering that too.  I didn't think I was posting anything all that offensive but my karma goes from 22 to 10 (as of this posting) in the span of a week.

I was under the impression that when one gets karma priviliges, you get to see who's dinging you but from your questions here, I guess that's not true.
My went from 17 to 1 and all I've been doing is baking brownies recently.  This is indeed interesting.  Of well, let's try not to sweat the small stuff.  I want football NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh are there any comments on the Elliot blog?  I made one and I figure toher people have as well, but if there is a way to see them, I haven't found it.
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Elliot's stock has dropped on NFLDraftScout.com.  He's now back down to 17 but projected to likely go in the 7th round.

No stated explanation for it, I guess they're just recomputing.  Vince Young also dropped, from 2nd to 3rd.

I've made a comment but I can't find a way to see the others.  Maybe one has to be a member of that site, although some blogs/bulletin boards are set up so any comments go first to the moderator (in this case, Brett), who then determines whether or not they're available to the general public.

I imagine he probably has better things on his mind right now than blog maintenance...

That's too bad.  Stupid liability issues... Geeze. The world's gone to the lawyers.

With all this talk about Brett, it seems we never mention Casey very much.  Anyone know if he's improved his 40-yard time at all?  He's currently listed on that NFLDraftScout.com site as the 95th receiver.  That kind of surprises me that he's THAT low--he's certainly big enough and has had a prolific career.  The only thing I can figure is he's currently "slow-footed" by NFL timing standards. I doubt he'd be drafted but 95th...?

'Cats Fa Natic:
You're right! Have to mention Allen along with Elliott. Brett wasn't throwing AND catching the ball. I loved watching Allen play. Remember the  89 yard TD against Willamette? Elliott
threw from around his own 5 and hit him on the dead run near the 50. AWESOME!

Yeah, I do remember that one.  I remember thinking, "If there is an NFL scout watching this game, he's GOT to be impressed with that one..."

Is anyone here an "Insider" on ESPN.com?  You can only access scouting reports if you're an Insider (i.e., paid member).  I'm curious to know what they think of Elliot and Allen.

I heard there was a scout from the Buffalo Bill's in attendance at the Willamette game.
