Plus the Rams play the Seahawks each year up north, just a train ride and a few screwdrivers away. ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

You know, for all the chatter on this board about him, he better get drafted...  ;D

Don't know what we'll talk about when it's over and done with.  Guess we'll start having to talk about the band again. :o

O.K. I've got a Question for the group.......

Ahmad Rashad is eligible this year and should be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Should he be inducted as Ahmad Rashad? Or as he was known at the U.O. from 1969-71 Bobby Moore?

                             Thoughts? ???

I subscribe to the ESPN insider stuff, and their analysis is something people on this board don't want to hear.

As do I. I am a "half glass full" guy in general, but the stuffI am more worried about the '06 Hardin Simmons team then I am about the '06 johnnies, TT.
I'm with you Spirit. In fact, Not only am I more concerned about UMHS than SJU. I'm also more concerned about Concordia then the Johnnies.
I said it last year before the season started that if the Johnnies made it past their first game of the season they would go unbeaten during the regular season. I see only Concordia standing in the way of another league title. Just as I feel Whitworth is the only team standing between the 'cats and the NWC title. I do feel good knowing that the game with the 'Rats is in Mactown.
Everyone have a safe weekend!

From his bio at NBA.com:
A graduate of the University of Oregon, where he was a two-time All-American, Rashad was the 1995 Recipient of the University's Pioneer Award, the highest honor given to an alumni; and he serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Oregon. Rashad also holds an honorary degree of Doctor of Journalism from the University of Puget Sound.

No mention of "Bobby Moore". Guess he'll be inducted as Ahmad Rashad.
Being on the Board of Trustees, he can go by any name he wants.

I want to be known as Gaston J. Feeblebunny (A real name by the way). :0)

D O.C.

The board of trustees?
Wow! LINFIELD has really set their Hall of Fame moral clause high. Bobby wouldn't make it.
It appears Bobby Moore was forgiven his 'Cool Hand Luke' arrest for jacking parking meters while in Eugene.

One of the great basketball games in the (RIP) Riley Gym featured the U of O frosh team of Moore and several other prominent All-Staters vs. LINFIELD J.V.'s. Remember, no dunking, three pointers or palming the ball when you start a move back then.
Mike Smithey ('71 NAIA Champion baseball pitcher/Roy Helser nephew) was unconscious from 25-30 feet away and the WILDCATS embarrassed Oregon.

In September of 1972 I saw Bobby Moore play for Oregon vs. Missouri at Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri. I believe one of his teammates was Dan Fouts. As I recall, Missouri won.

News to me:
I didn't know the duck mascot at U. of Oregon was the famous Disney character.

What I find interesting in that article is that the offensive linemen and centers score higher on average than the QBs.

So much for the perception of "smart" QBs and "dumb" lineman. :P
