Wildcat '64,

I went and it was great! It was really fun to visit with guys I'd played with so long ago. The only poster I saw was Wildcat 11, but there may have been others I didn't know about.

Coach Rutschman spoke, as did Coach Locey. Lance Lopes spoke also, for you oldtimers who remember him. He's with the Seahawks now.

President Hellie happened to be sitting at our table, and I was impressed with him. He seemed very supportive of all athletics, and he had a good sense of humor, too.

One more thing, Wildcat '64.

I hope someone was writing down the Rutschman stories guys were telling, because there were some good ones, and they brought lots of laughs.
He told some jokes himself.

Coco,
Thanks for the update.  Sounds like Coach Ad was in great form and a good time was had by all.  I know Ad picked up a story or two while fishing with my Dad --- you know how those fishing tales go!!!!

Wildcat11 just sent me some very disheartening news.

Casey got cut today

With talent like Casey's to be cut so quickly just shows you the caliber of football
they must play in the CFL.  This I know comes as very disappointing news to all of us.  This doesn't necessarily mean he isn't good enough. It just might mean that he didn't get as good a chance as he'd like to display his talents, right?  Many of you professional football experts out there have far more knowledge on this than I. What's your take?

Too bad about Casey. Perhaps he will be picked up/signed somewhere else.
Is it possible to purchase a Linfield football replica jersey?
Does anyone know of a place in McMinnville that sells them?

There is a shop on third street in McMinnville that has them. they get them blank and put Linfield on them. I think you can choose your own number on it. I checked into it and they were around  $50.

Any of you guys know the name and address of the place?

You can get replica jerseys at Mac Sports, they are Russell not Nike but they are pretty good knock offs...you can pick you number there too.

That's dissapointing about Casey Allen.

Some of the other receivers on that roster have NFL experience so I figured Casey would have a hard time catching on with that team.

Hopefully he can catch on somewhere else.

You have to be kidding me!!!  Only man for the job is JOE SMITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sooo disappointed he's leaving!!

I'll say it again it better be Joe Smith as his replacement or Linfield will lose something big, it's something that's just can't be explained and it's not tangible!!!!

Unbelievable!!   :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

I don't know why he would want to deal with all the donkey's but the money is probably at least double!
