That wou game is huge, for obvious reasons. I think that us catdomers are going to get to see a highly motivated bunch of players with questionable on-field morals who may feel (for the first time since the series reinvention) that they can beat Linfield. I would be curious as to what wou is brining to the table, but I cannot bring myself to go to their pee-poor website.

And of course, the cats WILL roll....

Your comment caused quite a stir an another board, Mr. Humble.

Pretty funny stuff over there. I thought my comment was really rather innocuous. I was simply referring to the multiple personal fouls that wou seems to receive when the two schools hook-up. Of course that gets turned into me not only villifying wou but also turning a blind eye to any Linfield transgression.

Oh the humor. WOUalum just needs a reason to get up in the morning, I guess. I still think their website is pretty weak though.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

It's official...
I WILL NOT be participating in the Purple and White game this year after consulting with my law firm, croupier, pyschiatrist and surf report

They just ran a graphic during the East/West Shrine Game of the participating players who are going to Linfield. They'd mentioned D-I bound guys, whether recruited or walk-ons, earlier, and said they'd be remiss not to mention another football powerhouse in the state. Here's the list, I know nothing about any of them:

Ryan Circle, Pleasant Hill
Chris Buck, Cascade Christian
Steven Dark, Stayton

Back to the game, since now I have some guys to watch for.

I noticed later in the game they put up a graphic of kids going to WOU....looks like they had about 6 from the West and the East.....however, they didn't mention them as a "football powerhouse"!

Be nice 64...you don't want to hurt the feelings of any WOU fans lurking in the shadows. ;)

That company, and Penn Atlantic, and Teamline all have been around for a year or more now -- these aren't new services.

Some games will likely be available on video from each source this year.

That is great news.  The quality is terrific.  This is getting exciting.

So what will be the first game of the year you expect to fly down for?

Had a chance over the weekend to get a little dish on the happenings at the 'Dome.  The turnout for summer workouts has been among the best in recent history.  A lot of young defensive and offensive guys are at every single session, getting better and keeping that competitive edge.  The gym has been busy almost every day and I saw a few guys that have put on some size since the start of summer.  All very encouraging.  From what I gather, all the heads are in the right place two.  Everyone realizes how big the WOU game will be this year and no one is looking past to a HUGE week two.  What a tough way to start the season for a relatively young group.  All is good though, we'll get those battle scars early in the year.
On a even more encouragin note, apparently Benzel has taken a strong leadership role with the team.  He has stepped up and assumed the helm, working daily with his recievers to work on timing and chemistry.  He's even mixin it up with the D, letting them know who runs the field  ;D  It sounds like the guys have really embraced him as their new leader, let's hope it all holds up in camp.
I also heard some rumblings about new injuries and some possibilities of guys being ineligable, but as we all can agree, that stuff doesn't belong on the board.
Only ten more days till D-day
There's nothing like being a wildcat.  Some say they understand, but until you've lived it, you have no idea.

Great work again 11.  I especially enjoyed all the big hits at Sparks.  That 2000 game was unbelievable.  I remember #4 destroying Lutes all day long.

Great set of clips, The Music Choice is Classic! 8)

Those clips show why I choose the Nice confines of the Pep Band seats. After each game the only pain I left with was a little Heart Burn from the free pizza we got,  to play! :P

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!
