Zmotion10 out on 2

Dang.  I was hoping for some home field advantage!  Kind of like the Cowboys playing in the snow.

Nice try Z10,

It will be back in the 90's this weekend! The Cats are always ready!!

I'll watch a game in the snow on T.V. but prefer an even playing field.

Should be one heck of a Game. Two  d3 powerhouses going at it the second week of the season. I love this Game!!  ;D

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Don't know if the 'cats practice on Saturday but it is supposed to be in the mid 90's.

Thanks for the heads up!

Cut City

Not 100% sure but I think saturday will be a late morning scrimmage for the cats.

Has anyone noticed on this years roster and bio sheet that Drew Ragen is listed as LB/RB  Bio sheet says "breakaway speed and great size for the position......strongest running back on the team"
The wildcats look in good shape at the LB position so do we have the likes of a David Russel in the O backfield?

I better get started on my honeydew list if I want to catch the 'cats Sat.

Thanks for the heads up on the roster.  I have checked everyday day since the new look web site came out but did not check enough today I guess.
Shawn Draper. Who knows what relation that is to Dennis Draper of McMinnville? (Who, in my humble opinion, should have gone to LINFIELD instead of getting lost down there in Corvallis).
I am pulling for the 6'5" frosh qb from the fine Los Alamitos, OC, CA, football program to impact somewhere sometime. Met his family and him at a mixer a couple of weeks ago.
That new roster? That is reloading, idn't it?

Goal Line Stand

IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, BOYS!!!

The start of High School football!, (in most areas.)  If that isn't the official signal that it is football season, I don't know what is!!!!!

New era, but Wildcats just reload

btw....really enjoying the added feature that Linfield SID, Kelly Bird added to the player profiles....action shots on many of the returning players.

For example:  Returning All-NWC DT Mike Greenberg

Who is Greenberg tackling there?  ;)

You know you're desperate for Wildcat football:
- You've read every Wildcat bio.
- When you agree that DenSLA's opinion is humble.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

The Draper boy is Denny's, Think their are some athletic genes in that boy!!!  :o

Some info on the Cats New OC Jim Nagel. He Coach Ashland in 5 state Championship games. Winning in '89,'91, and '98.  Runner up in '92 and '93. WOW! That's impressive!
Sure you have to have some great athletes, but that's a heck of a coaching job!

Got a little juice from camp today.  Nothin to out of the ordinary but it's something to fill some time between now and gameday.  Word is Benzel is on lock right now.  Hittin everything he throws at and really taking control.  The recievers are about what we would expect.  Small in stature but doing things right, runnin crisp routes, and working hard.  There are two freshman with some size and speed that are impressing a lot of people, but that's all I heard.
At RB, Montalvo came out guns blazin and is lookin good along with Cruik, but it sounds like Reagan could be the x factor in the rotation.
Steady dog fight all the way around in the secondary with no one really taking control.  I did hear that Bubba may be in the mix for a starting corner job though.  Should be very interesting to see how it turns out.
Special teams sound fine as always.  Stan Fisher looks to be the favorite at Punter, and a good competition from a Languemi, Runkle, and Birkhoffer for the kicker position.  No word on returners, but I'm sure we'll find some more all-americans to throw back there like usual.   ;D
We have definately reloaded.
Let it Rain!!
There's nothing like being a wildcat.  Some say they understand, but until you've lived it, you have no idea.
