In 1950 there were 12 teams in the NFL with 33 players on a team. Now there are 32 teams with 53 players on a team. Then the ratio of high quality NFL players to jobs was very high relative to today. If at that time a player of any quality stepped out of line, he was canned, and another player of equal or possibly greater quality took his place. In 1946 during the week of the AAFC championship game Paul Brown immediately suspended for that game the captain of the Cleveland Browns because he had been stopped by the police under suspicion of drunken driving. Incidentally he was never convicted of the offense.

I say Elliott gets the roster spot simply because the guy that was shot had Purple interior in his car. Lets not complicate things just make the logical decision.

I would ask you if you need more gas, but then that may not be appropriate. Did Roths get the Tereyaki back in stock. Just not the same without the good stuff. The other stuff caused me to drink too much high octane. That coupled with the long trek up to row X gave me the g__.

Are you going to be at the Elks Friday PM. I hear the Trask is really trying to attract the Linfield and football fans. They have painted up their front Windows with a big Cat head and Linfield Banner. Lets root for the Trask and hope that the Cats, Alum, and Friends have a great hangout after the games on on weekend evenings.

The plan is for super High Octaine longies this week. Since the boys will be out of town the following week, we should start things off in an electric fashon. In case anyone doesnt know Electric longies are made with Quervo gold !!!!!!!!!!!! Ah yes it will be an electirc day !!

I just made my my flight reservations to see my daughter and Linfield's drama production the weekend of Nov. 10 -12. The play is Friday night, my wife wants the car and doesn't care for football (can you believe that?), soooooo, can I catch a ride with someone up to Portland for the Lewis & Clark game? I realize the first game hasn't been played yet, but I'm just thankful I'll get to see a Wildcat football game this year.

Been away for a bit, but have to belatedly give great congrats to BE. That is great for him and for small-college football.

The scores this weekend were to be expected. I am not sure how much credence we can give to wou's win, but I am sure that they are going to be more than ready come saturday.

I wish I coulkd be at the dome, but of course will be there in spirit.
