It's getting close now.  I won't be getting any injury status here but I hope all are well. It is a shame about Whitewater Kleppe being injured. A worthy opponent. Not supposed to be too serious.

I'd like to remind everyone about WOU winning the flip last year and in a moral building move chose to kick to LINFIELD. That was a good one.

You guys won't believe what OLinemom sent! Brownies! And not just a few! Two boxes of them! They arrived at our house this afternoon for us to take to the tailgate. There are several different kinds, which I had to taste, just to be sure they were good enough for the rest of you, and they are fantastic!

She included a note which reads:

Thanks for the SOU info / thoughts Monroviacat. I was looking at the schedules and with Menlo's win this past Saturday, they play SOU this week and Chapman the following week, the Oaks could be 3-0 going into their first NWC game, and that's Willamette down here. Is the apocalyse approaching?

Watching the NFL opener now and wishing it was D3 football (Cats) over the internet!  The excitment during the somewhat scratchy, occassionally broken broadcast of the Wildcats beats the Miami Dolphins vs. Pitsburg any day.  Oh well, just about 48 hours now!!!!

The weather man says rain for Saturday. When will they learn mother nature dare not rain on the wildacts. We may have showers before, at halftime and after but never during the game . 

The doc gave me the okay to attend providing I get my beta blocker filled so I'll see you guys at the tailgater.

To those of you that care, I think you'll find a much improved pep band that will be working WITH the cheerleaders.
