Since I lived in the Theta house, I am sure we have some interesting stories to share

O.K. Prediction time:

Cats finally open up the O and D remains solid:  Cats beat Kitties 35-7
UPS continues to roll and beats a struggling Lute Program:  UPS 21 PLU 7
Whitworth Continues the D-3 destruction of APUs season:  Rats 31 APU 14

Just for fun, I'll make the prediction on L&C/Menlo (A week early as was pointed out--oops):  Menlo wins it  28-14 --I know the suspense I just created will eat some of you up for the next week and a half :)

Go Cats!

From the front page: "Hardin-Simmons and Louisiana College were cancelled by lightning, with HSU leading 28-12 in the second quarter. The game will not be made up."

What happens in a case like this? No win or loss for either team?
Just wondering.

Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

MonroviaCat, Two little nits to pick regarding your predictions. Linfield 42-14. Menlo put up 35 on the kitties. But their offense is clicking better than it was at the start of the year.

And Menlo beats L&C by more than you show, say 35 - 7

MonroviaCat

Oh Cawcadad,  you are right.  I don't know what I was thinking ;)  I guess I didn't factor in the two weeks of prep both L&C and Menlo have for the game...  LOL  BTW, I was totally serious earlier when I called Linfield busting out the Wishbone offense and that is why I only gave them 35 pts this week vs. B-Cats :) :) :) :) :) :)

Red and Purple,

I think this varies from conference to conference but in the ASC the decision is by winning percentage.  Last year until the final game where Hardin Simmons lost their 2nd game, they were going to be the conference champs based on winning percentage even though they lost to Mary Hardin Baylor who was tied for with them with one loss.  (UMHB had their game cancelled against Louisiana College last year due to hurricane Rita)  There is a good discussion on this on the ASC board.  As usual, Ralph Turner puts out the whole scenario.
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

great job with the site. keeps the purple and red flowing.

what would you like to know about? i should have a story for just about anything you can think of. i could tell a story, but i need to know that there will be bail money available.

maybe this is not the place for wildcat stories. maybe 11 would set up a place to post stories for your reading pleasure.

anyway....... hope all is well in the McMinnville area.

Hi CalCat,
Stories, I got no frickin stories--Are you kidding me--I passed them all down to Wildcat11.  Those were the times that Legends were made.  The Davis St house is still known as the Legend House !!  gotta love it !!!

See you on Friday

So Scharer takes over at QB this week. Hmmm.... could this be another Tyler-Matthews-kind-of-moment in the making?   ??? It'll be interesting to see. From what I've seen of Scharer, he seems to have the tools, now let's see what he can do as a starter with a couple weeks of practice under his belt.

I think my main concern going into this game vs. the hapless (or helpless or hopeless--or all three, if you prefer) Bearcats is the play of our offensive and defensive lines. Both improved in the loss to HS, but they still need to take it up another notch. Time for them to start knocking some teeth in, IMHO.

If Willamette has their O back on track, and it sounds like they've made some strides last week, this is definitely NOT the week to be whiffing on the initial tackles.

I say, Bring it On!

Scharer looked good in his few snaps at hsu. He is tall, athletic, and has a good arm- lots of zip on the ball on the passes down in texas. I think that this game is the chance for the D to really assert themselves and for the O to get some big plays. The d looked pretty good down in TX, but they could not get off the field. The O needs to produce some points.

In the Oregonian small college notebook today, Norm Maves predicts the wildcats team is an eruption just waiting to happen. Well, someone's season is going to get blown up, that is for sure.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

As a newcomer to the board this season (from out of state), and not attuned to the customs of 'Cat-gating before the game, I want to be sure to meet up with some of you board regulars at Homecoming this Saturday. Will I find you guys hanging around the BWC area, or are there other areas that I need to be sure to check with?

Homecoming Weather report for Saturday calls for partly cloudy with a high of 77.

Sounds like a great day!

I'm Looking forward to Scharer's first start as a Wildcat. The weather should be perfect for a Bearkitti take down.

                                               GO WILDCATS
                                                   BELIEVE!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!
