GHC.....thanks for the referral.  I talked to him today.

Good luck to the cats this weekend....How can a guy root for cats and dawgs at the same time? :D

Oi vey! The Lute fans must really be down this year...it's Wednesday and the only person we've heard from all week is d-train?

Yikes!

C'mon Lute-fans! Where's the ol' EMAL spirit? I'm waiting to get into a heated discussion with someone!

GHC,
Looking forward to a little high octane action.  :P

Just my observation,  I think except for a few missed reads, and some sloppy tackling, both of which with the 2 weeks to prepare should be fixed. The Cats "D" has held their own. Take away Vinzants(sp) long run and some at HSU and we have a different ball game.
The Offense has had 2 weeks with Scharer taking the snaps. I'm looking for big things to happen this week! Some Td's, and lots of them! It's time to bring It Boys!

                                                      I   BELIEVE!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Longies? Now you're talking.

Beautiful weather.

Homecoming.

Supporting our Wildcats, and most important....

Sending Willamette back home with a loss!

This weekend will have it all. It's coming together.

Not sure we have much to get heated about.   It is kind of funny how fast fortunes have changed in Tacoma.  3-0 vs 0-3.   O well, At least we are matching the Linfield win total right now..... ;)

fuel for the fire...

From the Chargers web page:

The team also released quarterback Brett Elliott from the practice squad.  Tight end Kelly Griffeth, a rookie out of Fort Hays State in Kansas, has replaced Elliott on the practice squad.  Like Lott, Griffeth also was released by the Chargers on the final cut.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

I know it might be early to talk about the Linfield - PLU tailgate, but is there going to be a good showing from the faithful?  It would be good have some longies....  Just trying to figure out how to plan the month....

Here it is the Wednesday evening before the Linfield - Willamette game and not a peep from any Bearcat. There is usually fur flying all over the place.

I am sorry to hear about TB  ...hey...does Linfield need a QB???? ;) ;) ;)just kidding....I wish him a very speedy and healthy recovery.  It is a shame when a kid waits his turn and then that happens.  Good luck Cats.

Ive got to say the guys, and gals, Mrs coco,  on the NWC baord are extremely friendly and thank you all  for the great emails of encouragement.

That's too bad but when they signed that 3rd QB, you kinda had to figure his days were numbered in San Diego.

I wonder if the Bills, Chicago, GB, and some of the others that showed some interest might pick him up?

Funny, but before BE, I had no idea how interesting keepin' an eye on practice squads could be...  :P
{Clever sign-off goes here.}

wyd,
You'd better make it down for the game. We traveled well last year, and D-train said he's coming.

That sucks about Elliott. Even more than Willamette sucks.

Now Coco, does anything really suck as much as Willamette? :)

Sorry, won't make the Linfield-PLU game this year...I'll got commitments out of the area that whole week. I plan to catch the Lutes at L&C, Whitworth at Linfield, and may be at Sparks for PLU-Willamette later on in the year (as I'll need to be in Tacoma that weekend anyway). I might catch a game somewhere on Oct. 7th or 13th as well...but I'm not sure right now. I'll be in Bend this weekend, but will be eager to hear the UPS-PLU score.
