Thanks for the welcome guys....I should be hanging around with Prof J and my family....LND, no fur hat but I might be wearing my purple and red Mongol coat....but then again maybe not....Linfield hat for sure, mustache and graying beard.

Coco...I brought a book for Mrs Coco commemorating the Mongolian and Russian space flight...it's in Russian, English and Mongolian...lots of pictures.

If things go as planned I will also make the game next week ;D
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

In route to the UMHB vs UWW game but wanted to get in a shout out to the Linfield faithful.

GO CATS!!  GO O-LINE!!!
Sure hope that the tailgate goes well tomorrow.  It's raining buckets here tonight, but it's supposed to be nice tomorrow!  ;D  Whether that will help is anybody's guess.  Without GHC, who will make the longies?  Mrs. Coco, have one for me, please.  It's Family weekend so I have to be there at the crack of dawn tomorrow and smile!  But they will have to see me in full football regalia-with my Eagle tattoo on left cheek as I'll barely have enough time to enjoy Stone Station before the game begins.  Cheer the Cats to victory!   Rub those purple stones.  :) :) I'll have mine in my pocket and my Linfield power bracelet on as well!!  I think I'll try to get off some brownies for the BIG game next week.  You, too MCat Probably shipping yours Monday or Tuesday so be expecting a package this week.  Time for bed in the East.  Oh, yeah David Eckstein played for the Harrisonburg Turks of the Valley League when in college.  It's about 5 miles from my house.  He had a great series!!  (I know, I know, it's not football, but now that the World Series is completed, all attention can be focused on the real all-American game. 8) 8)
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Criswyly,

Welcome Home! The Catdome awaits you!
Talk to me about Russia sometime, I was there in 1969, drove through with my Linfield Professor Father and Mother when he was on sabbatical and  studying their prison system. Interesting time to say the least. Do I have stories!  :o

12+ hrs until the Cats fall some Oaks!  ;D

Olinemom,
good luck to your boys, We will be wearing our chains and bracelets proud today!!
Thanks again, undefeated since they arrived to me! :)
past my bedtime,    ;)  ;)   see you guys soon!

                                 ONE GAME AT A TIME
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

coco

Yeah, it's past my bedtime, too, but I'm excited.

Cris, I'm looking forward to meeting you, and to seeing the rest of you guys.

Is anyone going to the HOF deal tomorrow night? I tried to get tickets and they were all sold out.

Good luck, Olinemom, and thanks for your brownies and gifts.

Kickoff in less than 12 hours now!
Two words:  THE STREAK

'Cats Fa Natic

This from the Menlo write-up on thr Linfield site:
Quote
Smith served as an assistant coach at Linfield for 13 seasons, including the last six as defensive coordinator...he took over for Jay Locey, who accepted a job as assistant head coach and tight ends coach at Oregon State...

For some reason, I was under the impression that Locey held a defensive position at OSU. Anyone else find it a tad ironic he's a TE coach--considering how infrequently we actually threw to the TE?

:-\  ???

Oh well. Had to smile.

Willamette finds their MOJO this week and completes the upset of the year by beating the rats 21-20.

Boy, now that'd be something. They've had an extra week to prepare, so maybe WU can pull a rabbit out of their hat. I'd be less skeptical if they were playing in their own litter box.

Still, it's the kind of game that the 'Rats might be looking past with Linfield looming on the horizon.

Thanks DOC! The city was going nuts, but no problems reported. Us (transplanted) midwesterners can handle our liquor. Although, the final tequila shots were a little unnecessary- A lot actually. There are hangovers and then there are "the Cards just won the freakin' world series" hangovers- a slight headache has never felt so good. Rest assured, I will be ready for gametime.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

MonroviaCat

Spirit--I know what you mean.  I was in Phoenix (for a Bachelor Party nonetheless) when the D-Backs beat the Yankees (can't remember if was the final game or not) and we were at a place that provided entertainment for soon to be married men and their friends.  Needless to say there was a lot drinking that night and some big time hangovers the next day (The D-Back crowd of course had no experience with such a win and thusly went way overboard with the celebration). :) :) :)
Kick-off in about 3.5 hrs.

Go Cats!

I was wondering where the 'Cats Fa Natic was and poof!

Are you online today?

I am on my way out the door for the 2 hr drive to Cal Lutheran so I can plant some seeds in the OXY psyche (hey! that sounds good: OXY psyche). And yes, in the infinite universe one poster can influence one player at one moment and it can tip the balance forever.

Go 'CATS! Building momentum.
