First post of the season and I have to say that I am loving the posts from both sides of the ball. I had a question for the cat fans out there. I will be making the journey this weekend from Spokane with a number of friends and we're wondering what the tailgating situation is like down there. Is there an area for fans to gather, hang out, and enjoy a few beverages before the game?

On another note, I am really enjoying how nervous the Kittie fans are about this weekend. I can smell the fear of the entire town on Mcminnville all the way over here in the 509. 

Game prediction:

Bucs-33 Kitties-31.

You guys have no way to stop Allen and Clark has really improved on his passing efficiency (interceptions is the only thing that cost us the game last year). Also, while your D might  be "salty" ours is actually fast and athletic.

Get there early and head past the 'Catdome and baseball field and you'll see parking lot and tailgating area...best tailgating in the conference.

Don't think Linfield fans are nervous...just excited for another big game at the 'Catdome.

In regards to last years game wasn't the only thing that cost you the game it was 37-14 going in the 4th quarter and the Rats made it respectable with a push in the 4th.

Have a safe trip but a long ride home.

Well, that is 3 'Rat posters that have joined in now. And with pretty decent material, I must say, at least compared to what we've seen from some other teams in the past. I hope you guys stick around because after the 'Cats lay the smackdown on ya, it sounds like your boys could likely still make the playoffs - meaning there could be a couple of NWC teams around for awhile this year. Could be entertaining.....

Well, how about I slip one into the box of brownies that are being shipped out to Mrs. Coco for the tailgate at the Rat skinning this weekend?  Then you can both wear one!  Oh, and GHC, I'm going to send yours with the box as well because it is one price, no matter how much the box weighs.  I hope that is ok.  WC11's will be in there as well!  You'all need to cheer them on Saturday afternoon.    I have to go to the concert my nephew is giving and then I'll be at my Mom's (HINT.  She has no computer.  So if anyone wants to give me a call, please Mrs. Coco, I would appreciate it mightily!!)

CAWCDAD - When you know that once you've scored 10 points, you've won the game, that changes your game plan a bit... Pretty soon you only need to run the ball and the clock.

In defense of the salty D, Pinecone----14 of the 21 pts were in "Garbage time"  one of the TDs was an INT (thrown by our back-up QB in his first action of the year)---no Salty Defense involved on the play. Another was a one play---big hit--against our back-up D (also probably in their first playtime of the year).  Yeah, I know, Whitworth gave up one TD on two big plays to the Lutes but I'm guesing it was your first team, "we can hold all the crappy offenses in the west to under 2 touchdowns" guys.  We'll see what happens when the Salty D meets the....milktoast offense (yeah, I'm sure they stop playing after scoring 10 pts) and the Rat D meets a team that knows how to move the ball   Can't wait for Saturday!.....Now if I could just come up with a good "yo mamma is so fat......."......Hm........
