If I remember right (there's been a whirlwind of posts the last few days  :)) was it cris that is headed over the mountains from Sunriver on Friday?? In any case, definately plan for snow and allow for a slow trip.  People that aren't used to it tend to freak out and come to a crawl in any kind of weather on that pass.
There's nothing like being a wildcat.  Some say they understand, but until you've lived it, you have no idea.

Count me in on the Thanks D. O. C.,

M-Cat that's Classic  ;D  ;D.

You know, I gotta thank Pat for this site, I learn something new everyday, From GHC to DOC, From m-Cat,  Foss, coco, DT48, WC11  and all the rest, Oh, can't forget my good buddy bluenote, You guys are the best!  8)

It's getting close, I just ordered the meat for Saturday people, so be hungry!

On the menu this week is  Rat teriyaki on a stick!  :o
Thanks to Downtown48's Rat trap, we should have plenty to go around.

                                                       BELIEVE
                                             ONE GAME AT A TIME
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

The boys better be able to run the football Saturday...weather.com just added HIGH WINDS at 18 mph to the forecast!   :P

Don Hansen= Whitworth over Linfield 21-17. :o

MonroviaCat

It's official---Don Hansen's predictions are always accurate.  Whatever he says IS WRONG!  :)  Must mean that the Cats win.  BTW, thanks for the props on that picture but all I did was a little net surfing to find it.  Not like I have the skill to photoshop anything on my own! :)
Go Cats!

Yeah, one time we were on our way to Sunriver (roads were clear but there was snow on the sides.  We came up behind this other car and all of a sudden her emergency lights came on.  So we backed off thinking maybe she was in trouble---but no.  Came back up behind her (within like 3 car lengths)---emergency lights again.  I guess she was trying to tell us to stay farther back (not like we were tailgaiting either) because it had snowed in the last week..... funny times :)
Go Cats!

D O.C.

Some of you will probably be late to your tailgater Saturday listening to the Hope (5-3) at Olivet (5-3) game. Please keep everyone posted if possible.

Okay, I admit I'm a little nervous going over Santiam tomorrow...but my consultants on this side of the mountain are telling me that it should not be a problem...Weather forcast for Detroit area is cloudy but no precip...
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

coco

Cris,
You should be fine. The snow level is supposed to be 7,000 feet.

Who was it who posted about the ratatouille? That's classic.

DutchFan2004,
About your post wondering if we will still make it into the playoffs if we lose, who knows? We think we should, of course, but I'm not going to predict what the selection committee will do. We've been wrong before where they're concerned.

Don Hanson, geez. Who gives a rat's ass what he thinks?
Two words:  THE STREAK

desertcat1

Rats are going down like the sinking ship they sail...   " Special" order of salt due in the catdome tomorrow ...RAIN or SHINE... ::) ;) :-*

So here I am, catching up on all the banter, when a thought occurs... I can understand why Linfield uses the "wildcat" as a mascot, because there are (or at least were) wildcats in the area. But why is the mascot of Whitworth a pirate? Haven't they noticed they're landlocked and about 300 miles from the closest ocean?

::)

That's why GHC has set up his soup kitchen (serving second hand chowder) at the Habor..  For all the rats that have jump from the sinking ship..

I think the conference will have to ammend their bilaws once the NWC has an automatic bid. ....

At what point will that be? I'd been under the impression that bringing Menlo into the NWC would give us an automatic bid.  ???
{Clever sign-off goes here.}

cawcdad

Fa Natic, Menlo will give the NWC an auto bid. But the by-laws have no language for awarding that auto bid in the case of a tie for the NWC Championship.

Huh. I'd thought I'd seen another post on here somewhere saying that we would NOT get an automatic bid this year.  But maybe I saw that in my pre-coffee stupor...
