Dee,
Your not at it again, Identity theft, ???  I thought we cleared this up a couple of years ago with AB.  You don't think Nah couldn't be could it.

Nah, I don't have time to cook up a second identity on here.

Remember, the Daily Dose blog and Post Pattern forums are two different things. Apparently (509)Rat claimed to have only been around here (the forums) for a few months...but Pat suggests there's evidence that he signed up for the blog in 2005 (using the same e-mail and a handle similar to 'dtrain'). Regardless of whatever's behind that discrepancy, I think it's clear that this guy is a recent Whitworth grad (one of his posts suggested that he started school there in 2001)...not a former Lute pretending to have spent time in Spokane.

I didn't think (509) Rat was D-Train....I've met D-Train and read his posts. Things didn't add up on that one... :P  I think pineconefan is theharv though... ;D

Thanks for clearing that up Dee, cause I know there are Lutes all over the place.  At least thats the case up here.  We even have Frosty's daughter teaching at our HS.  I will continue to fight the battle though.  No players are allowed to wear Lute gear on our practice field  MANLAW  Heck one of my secretaries was even wearing her Wildcat championship shirt to work yesterday--thats just the way it is in my world.

GHC...Just wanted to say hi!  It's been a long time!  Hope all is well!  Get those Cats back in the playoffs in 2007!  Temp has cooled off in Minnesota..creating opportunities to wear the Linfield Sweatshirt you sent me a few years back!

Take Care!

SamWill,
Thanks for checking in.  How are the boys.  Do you think they are old enough for me to send them the Linfield recruiting material I promised ??? Kidding of course.  We are pretty sure that our Cats will be back in the hunt next year.  Enjoy the run with SJU, this weekend will be a huge game for them, especially with Beaver back.  Their O-line was an impressive bunch last year, studs all across.
Anyway all the best to you and your family, keep in touch

GHC,

The boys are great!  Both of them are heavy into the hockey season..they played flag football this year for the first time and I was amazed at their inate abilities to drop any kid who crossed their faces while playing defense.  Just kidding!  At 6 and 8 they are still a ways away from receiving letters.  My kid brother on the other hand just finished his H.S. junior football season and played Mike LB for the Classic Suburban Co-Champion Hill-Murray Pioneers.  Yes, you must be wondering how I could have a brother in high school, but he was born when I was a junior in high school...good Catholic Parents...oops, call it what you like!  Any way, I think he has his eyes on SJU (which would please his older brother and parents), but if Linfield came calling...he couldn't lose their either!!!  Have a great holiday and keep in touch!

Thanks for the heads up R&P,

That's a Great Honor for Rob, and the Wildcats.

Noticed the Lights on last night at the Catdome, so I drove by to see what was going on. I was hoping to see the boys out their mixing it up, since they can still practice until the season is over with the Stagg Bowl, but just some touch, flag or something with a few guys and some girls.
Anyone know if they are having informal practices?

Have a great weekend everyone, and good luck to those still playing. May the games be close and injury free!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Congrats to the big guy...now represent the NWC and go beat the Mexicans.  What ever happened to lucey?  Wasn't he named honorable mention...thought he was supposed to be the big stud on the o-line?  Did he have a bad year, or did politics get in the way when coaches were nominating and voting for the all conference team?

D O.C.

Suggest all WILDCAT fans quit licking the wounds and tune in to the ST.J/UWW webcast.

WILDCAT Nation is going to have to look into the feasibility of getting such a set up going.

If the rest of the country won't come to us then we can go to them.

Well...that was interesting watching some of the Whitewater/SJU game on the internet today. Seems like that could be pretty common place in the near future. Anyone know what is involved in a broadcast like that? I'm not a tech guy but it doesn't seem like it would be that complicated to hook up a video cam to a server and broadcast a game. heck you wouldn't even need announcers if you didn't want to. Just the sound of the stadium maybe. This game was free which I thought was pretty cool but heck I'd have been happy pay the $5-10 or so to watch Linfield at Hardin-Simmons on an internet broadcast like that.

From what I saw it looked like SJU and Whitewater were pretty evenly matched. That makes me feel better about Linfield's season. We were right there with both those teams.....just too many turnovers at the wrong time led to a big non-playoff fart.

Bluenote, I was lucky enough to help with a webcast our high school did a couple of years ago. We used 4 cameras (one person each) a director plus several to work the instant replay machine, the graphics, and a few other pieces of equipment besides the play by play. Our biggest problem was our server's band width for the out going signal. Just about crashed our districts server with all the hits. ;D That was a few years ago and obviously things have improved. The UWW crew did a great job.
