Tez,

Mike Allan decided to play in the East-West Shrine Game instead.  I thinks its this coming Saturday.  The release made it sound like the decision had to do with actual NFL coaches at the Shrine game, along with the charity element of the game.

Thanks, I think that would be the better of the two games. Though Hawaii Would have been nice in January.

Ralph,

Now that was interesting, to start out with Shenadoah who have won a total of 3 games in the past 2 years, and beats Greensboro who have won a total of 4. Now that's a Victory chain.

I just want a Victory chain that starts with beating WOU,  and continues to the Stagg Bowl.

Did you guys see Don Hansen's All-American list, or whatever he calls it, where he names half the players in the country?

I don't mean to be critical here, but the guy needs a proofreader. Not only did he spell Rob McCullough's name wrong, but he listed Mike Ketler's weight at 180! Now that's gotta make you smile.

Just in a quick glance I noticed Mike Allan (Allen) and A.J. (Al) Raebel spelled wrong too.

Hey Pat,

I like the new adidas spot on the top of the page (with the NBA team colors). My wife works at their North American headquarters here in Portland.

d-train....I've driven by the headquarters campus...pretty cool looking architecture....nice setting too overlooking the Columbia River/Portland docks.

Whitworth just got two transfers this january.  1 is a freshman (don't know his name) a te/wr who was recruited last year but didn't get in...very strong but a little undersized (only 6'2" around 240).  The second is a QB...6'5" around 220-230.  PLayed baseball last year for WSU but decided against football.  He is currently on the Whitworth baseball and will play football next season (with freshman eligability I believe).  His name is Matt Oye, played football, basketball, and baseball for North Central High School here in spokane, so someone like Pineconfan may be somewhat familiar with him.  He has an absolute cannon (threw 93 last year in a baseball game at WSU) whether he can move and break down a defense in only a few seconds has yet to be determined.  That's all the news for now from Spokane.

bluenote,

So when are we going to jam, my man.
By the way, I heard you were in charge of getting Crown on the Cats schedule to fill in  a 10th  game? Any truth to that?

Wildcat11:  I'd like to offer you a "Tip of the Hat" for your photo editing with the "On Notice List"  but I'll also have to give you a "Wag of the Finger" for getting my hopes up that Stephen Colbert actually acknowledged the Cats!  :)

:)  Is it September yet?

MC,

I was just working within the guidelines of Truthiness.  BTW, before I starting rolling out new vids for 'Catdomealumni.com [plug]New clips start March 5th[/plug], I've been doing some housekeeping.

This clip wasn't loaded up on YouTube so I just posted it up.  Enjoy:

Rat(509) ...do you think these new studs you're getting can get you more than 85 yards when they play Linfield this year? and complete more than 2 passes? Well, I guess your goal could be 87 yards and 3 complete passes.  :o

Tux.....I'm ready to jam any time but I may need some sound proofing the way you wield those sticks and pump that bass drum! and don't forget your face paint...  ;D

(509)Rat

bluenote...hopefully they can.  But the more important question is will the 2007 Wildcat team beat Whitworth no matter how many yards the Pirates have???  Maybe some new extra-tacky gloves for next years game against Whitworth...that could help to alleviate all those turnovers.

Michael Allan is playing in the East-West Shrine Bowl this saturday at 1:00pm on ESPN 2.  I hope he does well, and is able to play with the big boys, much like Elliot did in the Hula bowl (he looked like the best QB out there that year, but I don't remember any stats from that game).

bluenote

....ya, I asked one of my football buddies what happened this year? he said it in a word...."turnovers"....the Pine Bowl should be rockin'
