The juice doesn't seem to be helping too much.  They've only broken the six win barrier once since 2001...even the dealers are failures! ;)

If you are going to go play stout, make sure you watch out for the hypodermic needles strewn about the field and locker rooms...it wasn't the cheese and milk that was making those boys so big ;D

That's a pretty serious allegation to just float out there so casually.

DTrain is the man, and he is correct. When I went to wisconsin I saw no signs of steroids, but a lot of signs of curd.

Maybe (509) was making reference to Stout players getting busted for 'roids.  Wisconsin college to begin drug testing after steroid bust

I see...since there's some tangible evidence, I'll retract my statement. Just didn't want us to start any bad blood with the WIAC for no reason. I remember a lot of similiar rumors back in the day about Western and Central (Wash., when we were all in the same league). I have no idea how much truth (if any) was behind them...but they certianly weren't helpful in the whole public school/private school divide.

Yes the reference was to that Stout apartment where a few thousand dollars cash, marijuana, cocaine, and steroids were siezed.

Downtown48,
The reason the steroids weren't helping much is because the players thought that marijuana and cocaine were also performance enhancing drugs  ;D  But I could see how that white stuff could get confused with creatine...

My first report from spring ball is up on the blog:

I would like to wish all the NWCers a Happy Easter or Passover, which ever the case may be. Just over 5 months to the opening kickoff with a couple of arena games to tide me over. ;D

Tuxguy

cawcdad,

Thank you and the same to you and the rest of the football fans around the world.

Just had dinner with my parents and now I'm  off to the the in-laws. Gotta keep the peace.  :D

Later all   :)

Sounds like they've made a hire in Thousand Oaks; a local H.S. coach will now lead the Kingsmen. So the question remains open: W.W.S.I.N.? (Where Will Spec. Interview Next?).  :D

We need to pick up another game or 2 somewhere. Any Ideas?

The Wisconsin Schools have been willing to play NWC teams, and we did the Stevens Point gig, How about another School?  Stout? Lax? Cheese head U? Is it the Money? 8 games just doesn't cut it, So what can we do?  ???

It's the off season, looking for some food for thought.   ;D

UW-Whitewater is still looking for it's 10th game.  Word on the street is that they had their schedule all but set when a negotiating team backed out.   I would love a home/home contract between the Hawks and the Cats.  Would give us a chance to welcome the Cat Fans to Perkins Stadium and repay your wonderful tailgating hospitality.   :)

A home and home with UWW would have to give the Cats one of the toughest schedules in the nation.  It would include two top ten teams with UWW and Whitworth, Hardin Simmons coming in just behind with a top 15 finish for 07.
Do you know what a JAIL BREAK is?

Welcome aboard Snapper

Let me be the first to give you some good karma. I agree having WW on the schedule would be one heck of a tough schedule......nothing though are 'cats can't handle. Budget wise having a couple long distance trips could work out providing one of them is at home. I know you hate that trip to Whitworth and having to play at Atherton never brings out the best in Linfield. Hope to hear more from you, especially when the season heats up.

Agreed......... but UWW would be right there with you with a schedule that already includes two top ten teams, #6 UW-LaCrosse and #8 Mary-Hardin-Baylor,  and would then be adding #23 Linfield!  Probably crazy but it would be fun to play the Cats again in our house.

fb413,

Good to hear from you!  Tux Jr. Graduates end of May. My how time flies by. Seems like  just yesterday..........well you know.  ;D

We need a big donation to the athletic Department for travel if we want to pick up some of those games. Time will tell. It would be fun.

wildcat11:

Great job on the Linfield vs. H - S video.
I enjoyed the big hit at the end.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!
