That 'tiny' moniker is OK with me.  It first surfaced nationally when Sports Illustrated did a blurb on Adolph Rutschman coaching from the box atop the dome.

Yeah- isn't Linfield a tiny school? What else are they going to call it- "not large"?
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

But they don't say tiny Rice University or tiny Wake Forest University, each of which does not have an enrollment a whole lot greater than Linfield.

As long as they mention Linfield football on national tv Ill take it.  Remember any publicity is good publicity, especially when  it brings in recruits.
Do you know what a JAIL BREAK is?

Fire rebound with a 16-10 victory over Amsterdam, although Brett was just 3 of 7 for 44 yards.
Unfortunately, they're letting Pickett finish drives that start in the first or third quarter
and carry over into the second and fourth quarters, which is when Brett is scheduled to play. So he's
getting less playing time than Cody, who was 9 of 17 for 130 yards.
On the plus side, Brett led the Fire to their final field goal of the game and milked nearly 10
minutes off the clock in the fourth quarter when Rhein was nursing a 13-10 lead.

BE should have had a TD pass to go with his stats as well, but Sam dropped it/it was knocked out by the defender. It was a great throw though and it also came while he was getting hit.

I would say "Tee-Hee" but I should probably go with "Har-Dee-Har-Har!"
Good one.

Spirit...The Butcher put that pass right on the money....too bad he couldn't come up with it.  With Pickett's drives rolling over into the 2nd and 4th Brett's time was really limited.  I would rather see them just give each guy a half to show what they can do.

However, Brett's limited stats we not incredible but he did a damn good job again behind center.  Good decisions, good check downs, showed his quality arm, and used his head in that game clinching drive for FG.

He belongs.

I'll put up the game action clip up on Wednesday.

In the long view Elliott is not competing with Pickett or against the other NFLE teams. He is competing  to play well enough to win the next opportunity - possibly a good one with an NFL team.

Casey Allen with his second straight three TD performance on Saturday in Boise's 70-34 win. Ended up with six receptions for 70 yards and the three scores.

Sports Geek, that is very impressive.  Thank you for that report.  Maybe Canadian football will see the error of their ways for letting him go.  The messenger bearing good news gets +Karma, as well he should.
