It is indeed great for the 2007 Women's softball team to win the first Women's National Championship. What a great accomplishment and honor. Today is yet another great day to be a Wildcat.  Congrats Lady Cats.

Yes.

On that NCAA website link from LINFIELD Athletics front page the photographer has two images that says it all.

It appears Game 15 images are also Game 14 on Tuesday, May 21.

Oh, by the way anyone hear anything more about how spring ball has been going?
Do you know what a JAIL BREAK is?

I couldn't help but notice that the Lady Cats are only losing two seniors...And it also looks like their pitching staff returns intact...Very impressive.

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Had a nice visit with Thomas Ford (Alaska Wild WR) this evening at a social event in Alaska for the Alaska Wild football team.  Thomas still has the Catdome "spirit" and is bound and determined to get the team on a winning track....just get me the ball coach!!!  Once a Cat always a Cat....Thomas already knew that the Lady Wildcats had won the National Championship 24 hours ago.

Re:  7th National Title

Let me see if I have this right,

Baseball: 1966, 1971
Football: 1982, 1984, 1986, 2004
Softball: 2007

Right?

fbgcat...you know, you're just like all those LINFIELD posters, never wanting to list National Second Places.

You are correct, sir. Yes!

I was gonna ask for close (Linfield) finishes but decided not to.  But since we are at it, PLU has a couple in football, I know George Fox got one in baseball a couple of years ago.  Who else in the Great Northwest has won National Championships?

PLU has four in football, 3 in women's soccer, 2 in softball, and 1 in women's x-country.
