Gig Harbor Cat

Ah yes Dee the K-dome  ( 11 will tell you why it carries that name)

Gig Harbor Cat

Tux,
Was cleaning the garage last weekend and found old Blue (keeper of the longies)  looked a little batterd but no leaks.  I think some 100 Mph tape on the warning label and we will be fine for 07.

Phone it in boys its in the bank

OH Mojo say he is ready to T-gate

Touchdown Tommy

Hey 11,

How was the Brewfest?  I tried an "Alaskan Amber Ale" in Vegas and it was delicious.

Hey GHC,

Ran into Seattle's own Shaun Alexander and Shawn Springs (gigantic gold watch with a diamond bezel that was off the hook redic) at the craps table at Bellagio.  No entourage and no gawkers except for Eagle Eye Touchdown Tommy.  They appeared to be enjoying themselves in relative anomynity...Also, roll out the Red Carpet, OAS and I are coming to town this Fall.  Lock up the women and children.
Chasing MILFs since '82...

GHC,

Sounds great,
I'm sure the first batch will disinfect the jug and it will be good as new.

Was checking the to see when the Bearcats play WOU, 9/1 at 9pm.
Can that be correct? 9pm? A guy could take in a 1pm game, go to a 4pm start and still have lots of time for the 9pm game, that's if you wanted to see the Bearkitties and the fly.  ;)

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

A 1 p.m. game in your part of the world would begin at 10 a.m. :)

Pat,

The great thing about you living in the East is, one of these days you could make an east coast game and  still have time to fly West and watch  our Wildcats at the Catdome.
With the respect we have for you and this site, I think you could get a ride to the game and back on us. I would drive you myself if you would commit to coming out West to a Game. ( A WildCat Game that is). But we have to be in time for the Tailgate party.
I think thats an official invite to experience our Linfield Hospitality, we might even have room at the Tuxguy Inn or bluenote B & B  if need be.
Well?

We'll pitch in for a ticket for Pat. How about the Hardin-Simmons game on Sept. 15?

D.O.C.,

Me Too. :o

How about Championships on a  High School field in the same Town/City  The College is located? (McMinnville High Schools Field is not used by any other teams).

The NAIA D-2 title game was played in Tacoma in '80, '83, '85, '87, and '95 (PLU featured in the first four, Central Wash. in the '95 game). The '80 game was played at Lincoln High School's Lincoln Bowl. The '95 game (and I think the '87 game) was played in the Tacoma Dome. I'm not sure about the other years.

'83 title game was played in the Tacoma Dome.  We, PLU, opened the season in the brand new Tacoma Dome by beating NAIA-D1 UPS (they had just dropped down from NCAA D2 and still had scholarship players) and closed the season by losing the NAIA D2 Championship "Shakey's Pizza Bowl" to Northwestern of Iowa.

I just realized from seeing Wildcat 11's video's that Linfield in the early 80's kept finishing off what PLU couldn't.  The '82 title came against William Jewell who knocked us out in '81 and the '84 title exacted conference revenge on Northwestern of Iowa who beat us for the '83 championship.  I still don't feel any better about those loses  :(, but thanks Cat's.

I've plotted out such trips many times but the travel back and forth is not as easy as you make it out to be, even jokingly.

Currently, I don't know what my work schedule is during the NFL season -- you know, for my real job -- so I can't commit to anything that distant that early in the season. When I am able too, however, I'll be able to travel on my own time. Money is no longer the object, it's time.

I appreciate the offers and do intend to be in McMinnville someday, believe me.

Thanks Oxybob!

In light of the Michael Vick scandal I was a little taken back by the "Backyard Brawl" picture on the D3 homepage.

Just bad timing I guess.

Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

WC 11,

That July 20th deadline doesn't leave much time!  ;D

Only four home games - that must be tough for Cat fans to take.  Hopefully history does not repeat - ala L&C.
