Does anyone have or know where I can get a copy of the Pacific Lutheran vs. Rowan Stagg Bowl 1999 DVD or VHS?

contact: webmaster@rowanfootball.com

Thanks.

Wow...you really want to see that again?  ???   ;D

I'd bet the PLU bookstore still sells copies. I didn't see it on their website, but you might give them a call at (253) 535-7665.

I've got one VHS copy, but no real way of dubbing it for you.

God, I love Linfield-PLU football!

That one brought back some memories. It's great to hear those names again and see the videos of those guys.

As always, thanks, WC11.

I've got all the others except UW-Lax in 95 and PLU in 99.  If it ever happens, a short retrospective of losses to the actual win might be a cool highlight video someday.

I haven't watched them.  I saw them all live.  I'd only review them upon Rowan winning the Stagg Bowl.

Tell you what then: if Rowan wins a Stagg, you can count on me to provide a copy of the '99 game.

God, I love Linfield-PLU football!

Hopefully we're on our way back to holding up our end of the rivalry.

.....cool....maybe our team/coaches will have some more incentive now after reading the D3Football.com Pre-Season All America List!  :'(  I guess we can call ourselves the "No-Name Wrecking Crew"

Yeah I'm not too worried about that.  However, I do find it funny that the pre-season 1st team returner is the actually the 2nd best returner in the conference.  ;)

An incoming Linfield recruit was quoted in an article in the Chico Enterprise Record about a just-played Lions Club all-star game:

South Looks For Lions Game Bragging Rights

QuoteWhat impresses Gridley High alum and All-Section second-teamer Simon Lamson is that he finally gets the chance to see some of the players he's only heard and read of. He will start at tailback tonight.

"It's fun getting to know all these guys," said Lamson, who will be attending Linfield College in Oregon. "We watched them all year long and read about them in the papers."

As for the game, Lamson had 17 carries for 122 yards, had touchdown runs of 16 and 18 yards, and was named MVP.

Bob,

Those NorCal kids have done well for the 'Cats in the past.  :)  We'll take 'em!

Says you. Neither of them was on the All-Conference team last year and we chose the guy who returns both punts and kicks, and scored a touchdown on each.

Yes, returning punt and a kick return for touchdown vs Claremont and Lewis and Clark is great.  Blum is good but Masters is much more dangerous.  Masters injuries held him out of a few games and that was a big factor in not being recognized by the conference.

Again, says you.

So, Mr. Selective Stats, who did Masters return his kickoff for a touchdown against?
