Wildcat'64

Pat,

Thanks for the confidence you have shown for the '07 Cats....I feel we will have a pretty good indication how good this team is after the second game of the season (Hardin-Simmons).  One game at a time still needs to be the mantra of a great team.

Classic story Wildcat...I can just hear Langs saying that and throwing his clipboard.  Did once or twice to me when I ran the wrong route...at least I had a general concept of where to be.

The best is when "Foolback" showed up all decked out in 49er gear in his Red Mustang.

I hope (509)'s boy is better than ours was.

D O.C.

I guess you never know. Wasn't there a MHB 28 year old who was pretty good?

D O.C. -

I remember Willamette had a 28 year old d-lineman a few years back, Matlock? was his name, who was a stud.  He had been in the military I think, before going back to school.

But Bubs is right, usually there is a pretty simple reason a guy bounces around from school to school and still has eligibility late in his 20's.  We'll see what the story is here.

I think Hardin-Simmons had a qb last year that was like 37 or something like that. I think he might even be back this year.

It sounds like Coco's favorites, the Linfield Wildcats, can just ask to have the conference football trophy mailed to them.

I'm just about out of all the wine I bought on my last trip to the northwest.  Maybe the Wildcats and Knights can meet again in this year's playoff.  Save room in your suitcases to replenish my wine stock when you head out here on Thankgiving weekend.

Okay...wait a minute...maybe I'll just have to agree with repete and settle for logging the longest hours to see a D3 game at the Catcome come this September 15th...Maybe I can get Pat to sign my football....According to the official clock I will leave from Ulaanbaatar on the 13th and arrive in McMinnville the same day...but it will take about 28 hours.  So much for the Longest Yard...I'll take The Longest Day to see Linfield play anyday.

Another excellent job on the Defensive Highlight real...What package are you using for the graphics and the effects....I just want everyone to know that the work you're doing takes a huge amounts of hours and we owe you and MrsWildcat11 a huge debt of gratitude.

Gig Harbor Cat

I'll see y'all on the 15th. I will bringing the Mojo and ole blue with the nitro. We will be moving the weekend of the Western game.  I upgraded from our single wide here in the harbor , got the Mrs a SWEET double wide and the roof doesn't leak.  Life is good in Gig Harbor.

Cris,

I'm an Adobe user and feel like I've only uncovered about 5% of what I could actually do with the software.   The A/V community is great in sharing ideas and skills.

I'll be adding Photoshop soon and hope to give Catdomealumni.com a facelift early next year.

Bubs,
A whitworth defense that has 9 returning starters (4 in the secondary that was one of the best in the nation in interceptions), and was top 15 in the nation in points allowed isn't going to rely on a transfer to stop anyone.  If you go by last years numbers and returning starters you Whitworth has (on paper of course) the top defense in the NWC entering this season.  He gets to pad upi today or tomorrow so we'll see if he's worthless like that Linfield player the Wildcat faithful were describing or if he's gonna be a good player for Whitworth...either way he provides some depth to the one position that is somewhat of a question mark for Whitworth's defense.

(509)-

Fair enough.  More than anything, it just brought up some really funny memories for me and 11 when we were playing.  Besides, where would this board be without more Linfield guys running their mouths.  ;D

Old guys... fat guys....pretty guys.......

Show me the Girl kicker from Willamette, now that was a classic.  ;D
Some things you just can't forget.

Or like 2 years ago at WOU. I'm in the Restroom and half the Wolves team walks in.
I look up at the guy next to me and said, "don't you guys have toilets in your locker room?" He says "welcome to D2 Football"......Priceless!

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

509R,

Redlands has ten returning starters on defense. It should be an intersting game up at the PineBowl.
