On a Football note:......I understand when Linfield went to D3 that the Alumni game counted as a regular season game. Count it or not we only have 10 games,(Last few years we only have had 9 games).. can it hurt us during the playoff selection?  lets bring back one of the best Teams in the Country........The Linfield Alumni!!!!

We play 9 games, everyone else is playing at least 10 games.  So let's get a warm up game with a top 10 team (Cats alumni). So it counts as a game,(big deal,) but it doesn't count as a game. We Win because we get a game like setting to play in.

Sure I want to play some other College, But if we don't get one on the books..........Play the alumni......they beat us when we won the National Championship!!!!! Most teams not only get a game in before we play, but get in that much more practice.
As always....just my opinion.

Well...the Wildcats are getting sharp. Should be a great outing for several no-name "Cats vs. WOU.

I couldn't believe my eyes today at the "CatDome. Brandon Hazenberg and Brett Elliott on the CatDome Turf. Brett was throwing bullets and Brandon was running some very "sick" routes!!! Wow...what memories....!!!!

I'm with WC11 on the whole UPS thing.  I guess I'll start taking this pre-season chatter once they've finally lived up to their coaches/players expectations (which will be never if they think they SHOULD beat Whitworth and Linfield).

Thanks for the update......talk about a way to get the "young Cats" hyped for Saturday....just having Brett, Haze and Thomas Ford on the same field once again has to be a real motivating factor for the current Cats.

I like WC 11's prediction for Saturday.....Cats +3....of course I would prefer Gig Harbor's prediction of +17 so that it wasn't such a nail biter.

Whatch what you say around here bluenote.  The SCIAC posters like to drop by and take offense to anything said about their teams (and appearently don't understands when you are making fun of them as opposed to their wives).  Anyways, the Whitworth offense is a question mark and Redlands has always fielded a good team.  Although with the D returning almost completely intact, and Redlands having a complete inability to throw the football...the offense doesn't have to do much

Thanks so much for your kind words!!  I am so looking forward to actually being there, being in the CatDome and seeing some Awesome football.  The tailgating is sure to be great fun!!  I do wish you all could be there, but this was the weekend that the Cocos had room for me for which I am ecstatic!!  You know Sean was always one of my favorites and I wish him the best teach experience and I know he will be a great coach.  Hopefully this won't be the last time I get up to Linfield.  Thanks again!!
