I meant the score of the Linfield game (I'm listening now). I know the score of the UMHB game, but thanks.  :)

WOW....what a half!!!  The 2007 Cats are going to be a VERY good team!

Western looks to be a decent club.  We got a great push by Big D on one series and WOU folded big time.  Our O is just fine in my opinion, The D needs to adjust and apply more pressure.  All in all we are in great shape, just keep our poise and get it done.

Western has too many open recievers---do you guys think it's too much time to throw or too soft of coverage?  Offense is clicking pretty well---blocking has been good, snaps a little sketchy though.

any news from Menlo?

well then 3 quick thoughts from the Whitworth game...

1.  Like a posted awhile ago when I was talking about the QB situation, Kemp has some accuracy problem (but his 67 yd TD run was so remiiniscent of Clark he wont get benched).

2.  The O-line needs the UW transfer to get in his practices (probably Whitworth's biggest weakness).  It didn't help that Redlands D-line played an amazing game

3.  Ryan Marshall should have never played this week.  He was hurt and left Whitworth with no way to win after hobbling after the reciever who caught a 79 yd TD pass to seal the game for the Bulldogs.  He limped all game and never came up to make a tackle because of fear of hurting his ankle.  He did have one INT when the Redlands QB mistaked him for a Bulldogs reciever and threw the ball right to him.

4.  I know I said 3, but while I'm venting Tully needs to fire himself as O-coordinator.  After the most predictable play calling I've seen in a long time (run on 1st, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd) something needs to be changed.  There's no more Joel Clark or Mike Allan you can't just rely on your offense being flat out better than the opposition.  Whitworth showed some great promise (mainly the first quarter) but doesn't have a 6'7" NFL prospect to lob the ball up to any more.

Redlands played a great game...hats off to them.  My Pirates played like crap and now MUST win every NWC game (and probably every non-conference game other than Azusa) in order to have a shot at making playoffs.
